Looking Down on the World Through God's Eyes

Imagine yourself standing by our Lord in heaven and looking down on earth. What do you see?

You would see independent little lights scattered throughout the world. Some areas have many lights, but most of the world remains very dark.

These lights represent God's existing ministries and churches. I want you to notice that most of these lights are independent and are not connected to one another.

That makes Father very sad, because God wants one body, working together to bring his lost children home from throughout the world.

Jesus is THE LIGHT, and if the focus is on anything other than our Lord, then the LIGHT becomes dim.

The enemy tries to get God's churches and ministries on any roads that lead away from God's primary purpose for his churches.

The two main mandates for God's 21st century church are to bring in the harvest and to prepare a pure and holy bride for our Lord.

If your church is not making those two things your MAIN PRIORITIES, then you are allowing the enemy to dim your light.

Jesus is the light, and he should be the #1 focus in your church or ministry.

Don't allow the enemy to dim your light, people.

Be like a LIGHTHOUSE and become a BEACON OF LIGHT that shines into a dark and hurting world.

Jesus gave birth to his church on Pentecost 2,000 years ago

Jesus birthed his church on Pentecost 2,000 years ago (Acts 2).

He gave ALL BELIEVERS the mandate to go throughout the world and bring his lost children home.

Paul birthed the church to the gentiles. Now ALL of God's children throughout the entire world have the opportunity to become part of God's family once again.

Satan's attacks against the church over the centuries

The early church grew daily. They did what Jesus asked them to do.

Things went great until Satan entered the scene.

Read what God said to the 7 representative churches in Revelation 2 and 3.

Satan was alive and active, and got God's early church on many wrong roads in a matter of decades.

Satan doesn't always succeed in getting people and churches on his roads, but if he can get them on secondary, or even third roads, he wins.

The further and further away from God's plan that the church strays, the dimmer and dimmer its light becomes.

Satan's masterpiece

Satan's masterpiece was the creation of a huge state church by Constantine in 313 A.D.  All the religions that existed in Rome at that time became part of this new religion.

It was called a Christian Church, but that was only partially true.

They claimed that Peter was their first Pope, but how could that be? Peter was already dead hundreds of years before this church even came into existence. How could Peter be a Pope if the Bible tells us that he was married?

This new church was like 2 vines growing together. One vine was true Christianity, and the other vine consisted of all the pagan religions that existed in Rome at that time.

The people brought their pagan gods into this new church and gave them Christian names. Their gods were given the names of Saints. The worship of Mary is actually the worship of Queen Semiramis, a pagan goddess, who is known throughout the world by many different names.

The lights on earth became very dim for centuries

Many false doctrines and practices from the pagan world entered this mega church over the centuries.

One main purpose for some of these pagan practices was to pull money from the people. It's even more than money. It's POWER over the people and nations of this earth.

There was much corruption and immorality at the corporate level, especially amongst the Popes.

The lights that God saw from heaven, as he viewed the earth, had almost gone out. Satan was definitely winning this war for the souls of man.

God's remnant of believers throughout history

God always had his remnant of true believers throughout history. These are people who love our Lord and try to live righteous lives.

He calls his true followers his Philadelphia Church (see Revelation Chapter 3).

There weren't that many lights shining in a very dark world for centuries from God's Philadelphia Church, but these were very bright lights that reached up to heaven and touched God's heart.

The birth of the Protestant Reformation

A man called Martin Luther entered the scene many centuries later. He was a Priest who wanted to clean up the church and get rid of many of their false teachings and practices.

Luther searched the Bible for answers to many of the questions that he had. As a result of his efforts, the Protestant Reformation was birthed.

Many other famous leaders joined this movement over the years, giving birth to many Christian denominations.

These early founders were very dedicated men who did much good for God's church.

Their lights shined like beacons of hope throughout a very dark world.

These new denominations also established many missions throughout the world.

The little lights that God saw from heaven were getting brighter and brighter, and many little lights were popping up throughout the world.

Why some of these lights were not as bright as they should have been

These leaders searched the Scriptures to find out what God was telling them, but they couldn't agree on what God meant by the words written.

One of the main problems that God faced with these new denominations was that their leaders didn't allow the Holy Spirit to lead them.

These leaders relied too much on their own wisdom, and did not seek the INFINITE WISDOM of GOD ALMIGHTY enough.

God sent us his Spirit to live within all of his children who come home to him through Jesus. The Holy Spirit is with us 24/7, and one of his roles is to be our teacher.

It's time that God's church allows the Holy Spirit to lead us to the truth, instead of fighting amongst ourselves as to who is right and who is wrong.

We are all some right and some wrong. God is the only one who knows all.

Why many lights are now going out or are becoming dimmer

It is reported that there are now approximately 33,000 different denominations. That is hard to believe, because most of us are only familiar with some of the major ones.

The Bible talks about a FALLING AWAY in the end times.

More and more false doctrines are entering the church.

The one world religious system is already in existence behind the scenes

Denominations and many independent ministries have now gone back under the Roman Catholic umbrella and have become part of the ONE WORLD RELIGION that the Book of Revelation talks about. It is already formed behind the scenes. 

This is called the Ecumenical Movement.

Pope John Paul II prophesied that the Pope after the next one (Pope Benedict XVI) would be a defective Pope (Pope Francis) and the coming Antichrist (False Prophet).

There are other leaders throughout the history of the Catholic Church that also prophesied that the last Pope would be a defective Pope.

Pope Francis is promoting MANY roads to God, people.

There is only one way we can enter God's Kingdom in heaven for eternity and that is if we make Jesus our Savior and King.

Eternity is a long time, people.

God determines who gets to live in heaven after we die, and NOT any man or religious institution.

Please don't put blind faith in any person or religious institution. The consequences of not doing things God's way are much too great.

Salvation is only through Jesus

Salvation is only through Jesus and it's FREE. No religion or religious leader can save even one person.

It's only the blood that Jesus shed on Calvary that can get rid of our sins.

My advice to my Catholic friends is this. Go to your Bibles and read what Jesus told his people.

Trace the history of the birth of your church and many of your practices.

If there is a fee attached, then I'd definitely check it out.

I'm not talking about paying our tithes or passing a plate.

The one practice that really got Martin Luther upset was the SALE OF INDULGENCES. The church started SELLING SALVATION to bring more money into their treasury. Wrong!!!

Salvation is free!

Jesus paid the price on the cross for our sins!

More people will come back into God's family during this coming harvest than the church brought home over the last 2,000 years.

The entire world will light up like a Christmas tree.
