IF YOU WERE TO DIE TODAY

Man is body, soul, and spirit. When we die, we simply leave our earthly bodies behind. The real you, the person inside of your body, will live forever somewhere. Where and with whom do want to spend eternity? The following is to show you what your options are. The decision that you make will be yours and yours alone. The few years that we live on this earth aren’t even a drop in a bucket in comparison to the eons of time of eternity. Make your choice the right one.

“There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body…There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial.” 1 Corinthians 40, 44

MEET GOD, YOUR CREATOR AND HEAVENLY FATHER

Let me introduce you to God. Some of you are meeting Him for the first time. Many of you have known ABOUT GOD most of your lives. Many of you have been raised in a traditional Christian church and know how to do all the hallelujahs, have a bumper sticker, and can say loud Amens. THAT’S FINE, BUT DO YOU KNOW GOD PERSONALLY? That is what is important. Even the enemy knows ABOUT GOD and can quote the scriptures. We need to have a personal relationship with Him. Do you? God is our Father. We are his children. We are a family. He wants us to be a family filled with love, not only for Him, but also for one another. That is what God wants.

In the beginning, God (Elohim is plural) created the heaven and the earth.” Genesis 1:1

God created Adam and Eve (first man and woman) and placed them in a perfect environment (the Garden of Eden) on the planet Earth. God walked and talked with His new family, and had a beautiful relationship with them, until they sinned. They really messed up and man has been paying the penalty for their sins ever since. We inherit our sinful nature from them when we are born.

“Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin, and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.” Romans 5:12

God is holy and righteous and chooses not to be in the presence of sin. As a result, man had to leave his perfect environment and fellowship with God and has had to bear the toils and tribulations of living in a sinful world ever since.

“Therefore the Lord God sent him forth from the Garden of Eden.” Genesis 3:23

The bottom line is this! God loves each and every one of us with a love so pure that our finite minds cannot possible comprehend it. God wants each and every one of us back in his family, so he can once again have fellowship with us. The problem is that our sinful nature will not allow us in the presence of almighty God.

Read on, and I’ll show you the remedy for this problem and how we can once again become part of God’s family and become heirs to His Kingdom, which by the way, is the entire universe.

We have an enemy called Satan who might try to stop you from reading this, but don’t allow him to win. He hates you and doesn’t want you to spend eternity with God. He wants to ruin your life, destroy you, and have your soul to torment in a hideous place called hell for eternity. Read on, my friends! Don’t let him win!

God created YOU IN HIS IMAGE, to have fellowship with YOU, and to walk and talk with YOU on a daily basis. God knows our every thought and desire. He even knows how many hairs are on our heads and how many cells are in our bodies. Do you? Our very existence is because of Him. I want you to fully comprehend the magnitude of what I’m about to say. THE CREATOR OF THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE LOVES YOU AND WANTS YOU TO BECOME HIS CHILD AND AN HEIR TO HIS KINGDOM.

“The Spirit beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God, and if children, then heirs (heirs of God and joint-heirs with Christ).” Romans 8:16-17.

God’s assets are not valued in the millions, billions, or even trillions of dollars. Many labor on earth their entire lives to acquire a little gold. In heaven, our home for eternity, God has streets of gold. Your little pearls cannot compare in size and purity to the pearls in the gates of heaven. The heavenly music is beyond our comprehension. The fragrance and beauty of the flowers is mind-boggling. Peace and joy fill our very beings. All the trials and tribulations of this world are gone. They simply don’t exist in heaven. THE GREATEST JOY OF ALL, HOWEVER, IS BEING IN THE PRESENCE OF ALMIGHTY GOD, OUR CREATOR.

That’s why you were created. You will never find true peace on this earth until you have a right relationship with our creator, our heavenly Father who loves us so very much.

There are many people who seek the ‘meaning of life’ and never find it. Well, my friend, you just found it!

“Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him.”1 Corinthians 2:9

HOW BIG IS BIG? Let me tell you, it’s a lot more than ‘this much’. In the beginning, God created the heavens, the earth, and everything in the entire universe. The earth is 239,000 miles from our moon and 93,000,000 miles from our sun. It would take us over 21 years to travel to the sun on a jet traveling 500 mph. The sun is 865,000 miles in diameter or 109 times the diameter of the earth. The temperature at the center of the sun is measured in the tens of millions of degrees. The pressure is 200 billion times that on earth. The energy produced at the core of our sun is equivalent to 90 billion one-megaton hydrogen bombs exploding every second.

Our sun (a star) is only a part of a galaxy called the Milky Way. These are the stars that we actually see at night. The nearest of these stars is 4.3 light years away. Light travels at the speed of 186,282 miles per second. That’s about 670,061,520 miles per hour. Let’s take another look at how far the nearest star really is. 60 seconds in a minute x 60 minutes in an hour x 24 hours in a day x 365 (approximately) days in a year = 31,536,000 seconds in a year. 31,536,000 SECONDS PER YEAR x 186,282 MILES PER SECOND= 1 LIGHT YEAR or 5,874,588,952,000 MILES or almost 6 TRILLION MILES. The nearest star is 4.3 light years away.

The nearest galaxy to our Milky Way is the Andromeda Galaxy. This galaxy is 2,310,000 light years from the earth. The nearest star is 4.3 light years and the nearest galaxy is 2,310,000 light years away. That translates to (31,536,000 X 186,282 x 2,310,000 or 1,357,030,047,912,000,000 MILES). There are BILLIONS OF GALAXIES grouped in clusters with BILLIONS OF STARS in each galaxy. A new group of clusters of galaxies was recently discovered. The distance across this cluster is 650,000,000 light years or 650 million times almost 6 trillion miles. Our finite minds cannot possibly comprehend the magnitude of God’s creation.

“He (God) telleth the number of the stars, he calleth all by their names.” Psalm 147:4

How about the forces that holds all this together in perfect harmony? How about life itself? Yes, God created that also! Do you have any doubt now that we have an AWESOME GOD?

What is really amazing is that, in this entire universe, God loves us and wants us to become part of his family and heirs to this awesome Kingdom.

“The things that are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal.” 2 Corinthians 4:18

Man lives in 3 dimensions (length, width, depth) plus time. Scientists have proven that there are at least 9 dimensions plus time. Man lives in just 2. Just because we can’t see something doesn’t mean that it doesn’t exist. Can you see the wind? Can you see electricity? There are at least 6 other dimensions that exist and I’ll call them the spirit world for lack of a better word.

In the beginning, God also created a myriad (an immense or innumerable number) of spirit beings called angels.

“For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in the earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him and for him.” Colossians 1:16

What do we know about angels? Angels are beautiful creatures that have wisdom, power, and strength. Their purpose is to serve God and to do what needs to be done in the Kingdom of God. The Bible tells us of different kinds of angels. There are archangels (Michael and Gabriel), seraphim, cherubim, living creatures, and common angels.

In the beginning, the most beautiful of these angels was Lucifer (a former archangel) who held the highest position of all the angels. Lucifer means the ‘light bearer’ of the ‘shining one’. Lucifer wasn’t content with this glorious position, however. He wanted it all. He wanted God’s throne for himself. Lucifer managed to get 1/3 of the angels to join him in a war against God. Needless to say they lost and were cast out of heaven. Many believe that demons are actually fallen angels.

When Lucifer was cast down to earth with his fallen angels, his name was changed to Satan. Demons are real and are very nasty creatures who serve Satan. Remember, these are spiritual beings. Just like we can’t see the wind and electricity, we can’t see them either unless they manifest themselves, but they are here.

“And the great dragon was cast out…called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world. He was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.” Revelation 12:9

Satan is the great imitator of God and also has his kingdom of spirits serving him. Satan has the world divided into regions. Every city, church, and individual, has demons assigned to them. Satan and his cronies are on and around the earth doing evil things to man and doing whatever they can to keep man from coming back to God.

“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” Ephesians 6:12

God has many of his angels also on earth carrying out his instructions. Among the duties of angels is to help and look our for God’s family. Yes, it is true. Every child of God does have a guardian angel.

“The angel of the Lord encampeth around about them that fear him (the Lord) and delivereth them.” Psalm 34:7

This is the ORIGINAL GOOD GUYS VERSES BAD GUYS. It is called SPIRITUAL WARFARE. There is much activity going on in the spiritual realm that we are totally unaware of because we can’t see it. There is a battle going on in the spirit world for YOUR SOUL. Who will win the battle? The child of God need not fear, however, because

“Greater is he who is in you (the Spirit of God) than he who is in the world (Satan).” 1 John 4:4

WARNING!!!

This is a warning to the uninformed. Psychics, fortune tellers, divination, reading horoscopes, ouija boards, dungeons and dragons, yoga, hypnotism, spiritist séances, voodoo, all pagan religions, games/books/movies/television programs that contain elements of witchcraft, TM, and other forms of meditation are all forbidden by God. These are of Satan’s kingdom and if you participate in any of the above, you are actually giving Satan legal access into YOUR LIFE. For those of you who are in bondage to Satan (including all addictions), you can be set free.

Many of you are parents and made a choice to have children to love and share your life with. God also wanted a family to share his creation with. In this vast universe, God chose a tiny planet called Earth to create man in. The earth was placed just far enough from the sun, so it wouldn’t be either too hot or too cold to support life. Scientists have stated, that if the earth were only a few degrees off course, life could not exist.

God created man in a place called the Garden of Eden and also created a wife for him. God named them Adam and Eve. This was a perfect environment. All their needs were provided for. God walked and talked with Adam and Eve on a daily basis. They had a perfect relationship. In other words, they were the perfect family UNTIL SOMETHING HAPPENED THAT MESSED IT ALL UP!!!

When God created Adam and Eve, Satan (Lucifer, the former archangel) was waiting for them. He hates man and does everything in his power to destroy him. When God placed man in the Garden of Eden, he gave man dominion over the entire earth. Now, Satan was coming in second not only to God, but to man as well. He didn’t like that. He then began his attack on mankind that is still going on today. After man sinned, Satan once again regained control of the world.

Make sure you get this one point. SATAN HATES YOU! Even if you serve him, his motivation is to destroy you. He hates you, and if he gets you for eternity, watch out! It’s definitely not where I want to be. God, on the other hand, loves you and wants what is best for you. If you talk about a no-brainer, this is it!

Satan is the great deceiver and the father of lies and likes to attack you at your greatest weakness.

“Ye are of your father the devil…for he is a liar and the father of it.” John 8:44

Eve must have been absolutely gorgeous. This was Adam’s weakness. Satan deceived Eve into disobeying God, and through her got to Adam. THEY DISOBEYED GOD. God gave them a perfect environment and everything they needed and could ever want, but God does have his house rules. In order to have fellowship with God and live in his presence, there must be OBEDIENCE.

Adam and Eve disobeyed God and sin entered the world. Because of sin, man was cast out of his perfect environment and would have to toil the rest of his life to provide for the basics (food, shelter, clothing) Because of sin, death entered the world. Man would no longer live forever on earth. Sinful man lost his relationship with God, and had to fend for himself in an imperfect world. That would have been bad enough, but Satan continues to deceive man into disobeying God even more.

Those who do not spend eternity with God will spend it with satin in a place called HELL that was prepared for Satan and his fallen angels. The bottom line is this. ADAM AND EVE REALLY MESSED UP. They had it perfect, but blew it. As a result, all of their descendants (including you and me) have become sinful creatures and have inherited the same punishment as Adam and Eve. Unless we come to God GOD’S WAY, we are doomed to spend eternity with Satan, his nasty demons, and the rest of his cronies.

“Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand (those who have not accepted Jesus). Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels.” Matthew 25:41

Even though man sinned, God still loves his people. He created man to be part of his family and wants us back. For those of you who have children who have gone astray, do you still love them, no matter what they’ve done? If they were to come to you, REPENT, ASK YOU TO FORGIVE THEM for what they’ve done, PROMISE TO CHANGE their life style and not do those evil things anymore, would you welcome them back? If your heart is full of love, the answer is YES.

God is full of love for you and wants you back in his family. IT WILL, HOWEVER, BE HIS WAY AND HIS WAY ONLY! Notice the word REPENT. That means to feel sorry for what you’ve done and to start doing what is right according to God’s rules. That’s part of the deal. This is not ‘LET’S MAKE A DEAL’, but GOD’S WAY IS THE DEAL!!!

“Except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.” Luke 13:3 “Repent, therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out.” Acts 3:19

Throughout the history of mankind on this earth, our villain Satan has kept himself busy deceiving mankind. His greatest triumphs have come in the name of religion. If Satan can get man to do things any way but God’s way, he’ll have their souls for eternity.

The world is full of Satan’s religions. He has even infiltrated the Christian world with false doctrine. There are also churches that call themselves Christian, but are not doing things GOD’S WAY. Beware of false teaching, because Satan is alive and is doing whatever he can to keep you from coming back to God, God’s way.

TO KNOW GOD’S WAY, READ THE BIBLE! This is one way that God speaks to man.

“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee.” Hosea 4:6

Now, I’m going to introduce you to something that may be difficult for our finite minds to comprehend. This is but one God. God, however, consists of 3 distinct personalities (God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit). This is what man calls the Trinity. Early one morning, I asked God about it. I said. “Lord, I don’t really understand the Trinity. Please explain it.” This is what he told me.

Water has a chemical structure of H2O. There is nothing in existence that has this same chemical structure. Water can be a liquid, ice, or vapor. H2O can be a liquid. Is this liquid H2O? Yes. H2O can be ice. Is this ice H2O? Yes. H2O can be a vapor. Is this vapor H2O? Yes. All three have the same chemical structure. They have different forms, characteristics, and functions, but they are all H2O. They are all one and the same. Nothing else is chemically the same as H2O.

There is only one God. There is God the Father, God the Son, and God, the Holy Spirit. Is the Father God? Yes. Is the Son God? Yes.

"But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God is forever and ever.” Hebrews 1:8

“Why hath Satan filled thy heart to lie to the Holy Ghost…thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God.” Acts 5:3-4

There is one God but three personalities. All three personalities are God. There is nothing else in existence that is the same as God. They are the same, but they are different personalities. Their assignments are also different.

This might be a little difficult to understand. If you don’t understand it, don’t worry. You are not alone. WHAT IS IMPORTANT, HOWEVER, IS THAT YOU ACCEPT THE DEITY OF JESUS. JESUS IS GOD!!! He is the Son of God, but he is God. It is because he is God that made your redemption from sin possible.

DON’T ALLOW SATAN TO DECEIVE YOU!

JESUS IS GOD!

Our villain Satan has been extremely active in deceiving mankind. Satan is the great deceiver! The ONLY WAY that man can get back into the family of God is to believe in Jesus as our Lord and Savior and accept his ransom for our sins. Satan is busy, busy, busy getting man to get his eyes off Jesus and on ANY OTHER METHOD as a basis for our salvation.

Some of these methods have also infiltrated the Christian community. Remember, it has to be God’s way only!!! If you have been taught ANY OTHER METHOD, STOP! GET OUT YOUR BIBLE AND READ IT FOR YOURSELF! It’s not what man or any institutions says that counts. IT’S WHAT GOD SAYS THAT COUNTS!

MAN REALLY MESSED UP! Adam and Eve sinned and were booted out of the Garden of Eden. Can you imagine God looking down from heaven and thinking, WHY? They had it so good. All they had to do was obey. God gave man the freedom of choice and man chose not to obey God. Because of God’s love for us, he has given us another chance, but only one more chance. If we mess this one up, it’s all over. Can you imagine the Godhead coming together for the plan that would redeem man?

Let’s take a look at the only way we can get back into God’s family. God loves us so much that he made THE PLAN very simple. He made it simple because he wants to give everyone a chance to pass the test. IT’S SIMPLE AND IT’S FREE, HOWEVER, IT HAS TO BE GOD’S WAY ONLY! There is nothing we can do to earn it. We cannot purchase it. We cannot obtain it by doing good works. Man sinned and there is absolutely nothing we can do by our own abilities to get rid of that sin. It looks like a hopeless situation, doesn’t it?

This was THE PLAN. Jesus, the Son of God, who is God, would step down from his lofty throne in heaven that rules the universe and become a mere man (flesh and bones) for a short period of time.

Jesus could not be born of the seed of sinful man because then he would also inherit the sins of Adam and not be a perfect sacrifice.

At the end of his time on earth, Jesus would take all the sins (past, present, and future) of the entire world and become a sacrificial Lamb for them. He would pay the penalty for these sins by the shedding of his blood on the cross.

God the Father agreed to accept this as payment or ransom for the penalty of man’s sin. The only way an individual can qualify for this ransom, however, is to accept Jesus as his or her personal Lord and Savior. THAT IS GOD’S WAY. THAT IS THE ONLY WAY!!!! We couldn’t do it, so Jesus did it for us!

That’s true love, my friend. You can either accept Jesus as Lord of your life or you can reject him. That decision is yours alone. Nobody can make it for you and nobody else is responsible if you make the wrong choice.

The bottom line is this. It’s either Jesus and heaven, or Satan and hell. There are no other choices.

2000 years ago, Jesus did step down from his throne in heaven. With the miraculous power of the Holy Spirit, Jesus was born of a virgin called Mary and grew up in Israel. At the age of 30, Jesus began his ministry calling 12 humble men to become his disciples. During the 3 years of his earthly ministry, Jesus taught and trained these disciples to carry on his work after he left them.

“And in the sixth month, the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto the city of Galilee, named Nazareth, to a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David. The virgin’s name was Mary. And the angel came in unto her and said. Hail, thou that art highly favored, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women. And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying…And the angel said unto her. Fear not, Mary, for thou hast found favor with God. And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb and bring forth a son and shalt call his name JESUS. He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David. And he shall reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of his kingdom there shall be no end. Then said Mary unto the angel. How shall this be, seeing I know not a man? And the angel answered and said unto her. The Holy Spirit shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee. Therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.” Luke 1:26-35.

At the conclusion of his earthly ministry, Jesus finally became the ultimate sacrifice for the sins of mankind. Jesus took on himself the sins of the entire world, was betrayed, beaten, spit upon, ridiculed, humiliated, tortured, and was finally crucified on a cross to pay the penalty for yours and my sins. At any time, Jesus could have called a myriad of his angels to wipe out the enemy in a second, but that would have defeated his purpose. He came to die for ALL SINNERS and that included those who were torturing and killing him. Some of his final words were

Jesus was crucified between two criminals. Before they passed away, one of the two recognized Jesus for who he really was. He said...

“Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom. And Jesus said unto him. Verily, I say unto thee. Today, shalt thou be with me in paradise.” Luke 23:43.

We have until we die to accept Jesus as our Savior. The only problem is, we don’t know when that will be. One criminal cut it close. The other one literally blew it. What will you do?

“For ye are all the children of God by faith in Jesus Christ.” Galatians 3:26

“In whom (Jesus) we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace.” Ephesians 1:7

“Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us, for it is written. Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree.” Galatians 3:13

Any connection Jesus had to God the Father was completely severed. JESUS, WHO KNEW NO SIN, BECAME SIN FOR YOU AND ME, SO WE COULD BE SAVED! Can you possibly imagine the creator of the entire universe doing that for YOU AND ME?

Jesus did die, and descended into hell for three days. The Bible doesn’t say what happened when Jesus descended into hell. He did make an appearance with the Old Testament saints in paradise. I have a feeling that Satan was not just ignoring Jesus. Did the penalty that Jesus paid for our sins continue in hell for three more days? We don’t know, but we do know what happened after that. IT’S WHAT HAPPENED NEXT IS WHAT IS IMPORTANT.

After 3 days Jesus arose from the dead and appeared to the following: Mary Magdalene (John 20: 11-18), women returning from the sepulcher (Matthew 28:5-10), Peter (Luke 24:34), the Emmaus disciples (Luke 24:13-31), the apostles except Thomas (Luke 24:36-43), the apostles including Thomas (John 20:24-29), the seven by the Sea of Tiberias (John 21:1-23), to over 500 brethren (1 Corinthians 15:6), James (1 Corinthians 15:7), eleven apostles (Matthew 28:16-20) (Acts 1:3-12), Stephen, the first martyr (Acts 7:55), and Paul on his way to Damascus (Acts 9:3-6) (1 Corinthians 15:8).

After spending a short period of time with his followers, Jesus ascended up to heaven.

“And he (Jesus) led them out as far as to Bethany, and he lifted up his hands, and blessed them. And it came to pass, while he blessed them, he was parted from them, and carried up into heaven.” Luke 24:50-51

“If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.” Colossians 3:1.

The job that Jesus was sent to earth to do was completed. Satan was defeated on the cross. It is because Jesus took our sins to the cross and paid the penalty for these sins that we can once again become part of the family of God.

The bottom line is simply this. If you believe in Jesus, repent of your sins, and accept him as your Savior, you can become part of God’s family. On the other hand, if you reject Jesus, you are condemned and not allowed back into the family of God. Satan gets the leftovers.

“For he hath made him (Jesus) to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.”2 Corinthians 5:21

When you accept Jesus as your Savior, God no longer sees your sins. They are gone and washed away by the blood of Jesus forever. Now, when God the Father looks at you, he sees you as the righteousness of Jesus. Your sins are gone. In fact, God doesn’t even remember that he forgave them. When they’re gone, that literally means they are gone. It’s a done deal!!!

“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Romans 6:23

“And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name, which is above every name. That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth. And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” Philippians 2:8-11

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” John 3:16

When Jesus died on the cross, all who accept Jesus can once again come into fellowship and direct communication with God. We can talk directly to him. That’s called prayer. When we pray to the Father, we simply say “In the name of Jesus”. IN THE NAME OF JESUS IS OUR ACCESS CODE TO GOD, OUR FATHER. Don’t forget it. No other code will work. It doesn’t have to be repeated every time that we pray. Simply remember. Jesus is the reason that we can talk directly to our Father.

“Be careful for nothing: but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made know unto God. And the peace of God which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7

If you have children, do you want to talk to them or do you like being ignored? How would you feel, if the only time they visited you or talked to you was when they wanted something from you? God is not Santa Clause. He wants to have fellowship with you. You are his child. Talk to him. That’s called prayer. It doesn’t have to be some super spiritual prayer that would receive literary awards. Just talk. Say what is on your heart. What you say to him if he were standing in front of you so that you could see him or if he was sitting on the couch beside you? How would you talk to him? What would you say? Just talk to him. He is our Daddy. We are his children. Just talk to him. Then take time to sit back and listen to him. He wants to speak to you also. The only way that you can hear him speak to you is if you stop talking.

God is not some remote being, somewhere in the heavens looking down at us, waiting for us to do something wrong so he can zap us. No, no, no! He is our heavenly Father who loves us and wants what is best for us. Even though he loves us, don’t forget to have the proper fear and respect for him.

Yes, there are guidelines. Do you have guidelines for your children? Of course you do. You know, that if they stay within the guidelines, life will be better for them. You have rules because you love them.

Our Father loves us and wants what is best for us also. If everybody abided by his rules, this world would be a pretty neat place in which to live. It’s disobedience that messes everything up.

“The Lord knoweth them that are his. And let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.” 2 Timothy 2:19

I can hear the critics now. Don’t talk about hell and sin. We just want to hear about the good things. That’s what has happened to the church (all believers in Jesus) today as it continues to sin. The world is looking at the church, and in many situations, doesn’t see any difference from the world. We are to be a light to the world. Are we?

“Ye are the light of the world…let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” Matthew 5:14,16

The world is supposed to see Jesus through us. Can they? We are supposed to be different than the world. Are we? Christians are supposed to live pure and holy lives. Do we? I’m a little confused how people, who say all the hallelujahs and amens on Sunday, can enter a Christian bookstore during the week and steal merchandise. It’s happening, my friends.

WARNING!!!

Willful disobedience and idolatry can get you our from under the covering of the blood of Jesus. Repentance can get you back under the covering. God’s grace is not a license to sin.

If you steal, don’t do it anymore. If you are having sex with a person outside of marriage, don’t do it anymore, etc. God gave you the freedom to make choices. Choose what is the right thing to do, not because you have to, but because you love God and want to please him.

Read your Bible daily! It will explain what is right and wrong. We have no excuses, because he did give us his word.

The attitude of, God loves me and forgives me so I can do anything I want prevails. WRONG! Yes, God is merciful, BUT HIS GRACE IS NOT A LICENSE TO SIN.

Yes, we all sin. We are human beings with a sinful nature. God looks at our hearts. Are we trying to do what is the right thing to do and what will please him? If we are, he will overlook those goof ups. That is his grace.

God’s grace, however, does not extend to willful sin. That is what we are talking about. You know that something is wrong, but you don’t care what God thinks. You go ahead and do it anyway. Those are the sins that will get you in trouble.

God knows our hearts. Are you trying to do what is right or are you using the blood of Jesus and God’s grace as an excuse to sin? Please don’t play games with God. He knows your every thought.

Repentance means that we are sorry for doing something wrong. Repentance is a change of the mind, the heart, and the will. The proof of repentance is turning from sin, turning to God, followed by good deeds. That doesn’t mean that we are willfully going to keep doing those same things over and over again.

"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God.” Ephesians 2:8.

What about being born again (dying to our sinful ways and becoming a new creature)?

“Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature. Old things are passed away; behold, all things become new.” 2 Corinthians 5:2

“What shall we say then? Shall we continue to sin, that grace may about? God forbid.” Romans 6:1-2

“Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkard, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.” 1 Corinthians 7: 9-10.

Yes, we are going to goof up. We are human and cannot live perfect lives. That is why we need to repent and ask God to forgive us of our sins. Simply say, “Father, I come to you in the name of Jesus. I really blew it. Forgive me. Help me to not do it again.” I’m sure those are not the words that you would say, but I think you get the point. Guess what? God will forgive you, if your heart is right. Don’t try to con him, however. He knows all.

Let me ask you a question? Do you have children? Are they perfect? Of course not! If they say “I’m sorry”, do you forgive them? What happens if they say they are sorry and keep doing it again and again and again? What if they have the attitude of “I don’t care what you say, I’m going to do it anyway”? It’s that attitude that can get you out from under the covering of the blood of Jesus.

Just as our patience can run a little thin at times, the patience of God can also. As a child, you might remember that you could only push your Dad so far. You reached a point where you knew that you had gone far enough and better back off. You didn’t want to experience the wrath of your earthly father.

WARNING!!!

Do not provoke the wrath of Almighty God! Yes, he loves you, but don’t try to con or manipulate him. He expects OBEDIENCE! How far does God’s grace extend? Who knows? Where is the point where God says enough is enough is enough? DON’T PUSH IT!!!

Everything in life has a balance. I like to think of it as a pendulum. If you go off too far in one direction or the other, there is a problem. Let’s take a look at this pendulum as it pertains to sin.

In the middle is peace and rest. We try to do what is right. God understands that we are trying and forgives us when we goof up. That is his grace.

To the extreme left are those with a rebellious attitude. This is where America is today.

To the extreme right is also a problem. In the days when Jesus lived on this earth, the Jewish religious system became very legalistic.

Yes, God has his house rules. They are called the 10 Commandments, to name a few. They still apply today.

When God makes a commandment, it is for our good. If society didn’t have certain rules and regulations, there would be chaos.

The Jewish leaders, however, kept adding to these rules and regulations, until there was no freedom. The people were living under the bondage of too many rules and regulations that could never be kept. That is legalism. That is an extreme and out of balance.

Jesus came to free us from all bondage and allows us to lives our lives in balance.

The bottom line is this. God knows our hearts. Are you trying to do what is right, or are you a rebel with an attitude?

How obedient you are to God’s house rules is your choice. Make it a good choice!

When you become a Christian, people will see Christianity as what you are. People are supposed to see the goodness and righteousness of Jesus through us. Let’s be good ambassadors for him.

Look at all the things that Jesus did for us. The least that we can do for him is to be a good representative of his family. The world needs to see Christians living Christ like lives? Then and only then, can you truly call your self a Christian.

“But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost. In whom the god of this world (Satan) hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.” 2 Corinthians 4:3-4

SATAN WAS DEFEATED ON THE CROSS; however, Satan will do whatever he can to keep you for himself. In Satan’s religions through out the world, and even in some cults that call themselves Christian, Satan has gotten man to believe that Jesus was only a man on the level of other prophets throughout history.

IF YOU ARE IN A RELIGION THAT DENIES THE DEITY OF JESUS AND CLAIMS THAT HE IS SIMPLY A PROPHET OR ANOTHER ONE OF THEIR MANY GODS, GET OUT NOW! There is one problem with this theology. JESUS IS ALIVE! THEY ARE ALL DEAD! Jesus is the only one who was raised from the dead and is alive today! Jesus is the only one who is GOD! Jesus is the only one who paid the ransom for your sins. God our Father will accept nothing else!

“For such are false prophets, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel, for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.” 2 Corinthians 11:13-14

One day we will all stand before God and give an accounting of what we did or failed to do in this life.

“For we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God. So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God." Romans 14: 10-12

Let’s imagine that we are in a courtroom and we are the defendants. There is not a shadow of a doubt that we are guilty. All of us have sinned. The verdict is GUILTY and our punishment is to spend eternity with Satan and his evil nasty demons in hell. MAN SINNED, IS JUDGED GUILTY, AND A PRICE HAS TO BE PAID FOR THAT SIN!

ENTER OUR HERO JESUS!!! He has already paid the price for YOUR SINS and MY SINS. All we need to do is come to him and accept him as our Lord and Savior. No matter what you have done in your past, Jesus paid the price for those sins. When we give our lives to Jesus, any sin that we have ever committed is forgiven and forgotten by God. Then, when our Father looks at us, he sees the blood of Jesus that washed away our sins. Then, when our Father looks at us, he will see us as the righteousness of his precious Son Jesus. When we accept Jesus, YOUR NAME and MY NAME are entered into the BOOK OF LIFE IN HEAVEN. The Book of Life records all who have accepted Jesus as their Savior. We then can become part of the family of God.

When we die, our bodies will decay, but our souls and spirits enter the other dimensions we talked about. We are transported off into eternity and given new heavenly bodies. We will once again be united with our loved ones who have gone on before us to heaven. THERE IS REJOICING IN HEAVEN EVERY TIME A SOUL IS SAVED.

Let’s go back to the courtroom once again. If you have accepted Jesus into your life, Jesus will then step forward on your behalf. He shows the judge the scars in his hands. This is the price that was paid for your sins. The judge looks at you with tears in his eyes and tells you. “You are free to go. The price has been paid.” These are tears of joy, because the judge is your Father and now you are qualified to come back into his family once again. He loves you and welcomes you home with open arms.

Let’s imagine ourselves in the courtroom once again. Our hero Jesus enters. Let’s suppose that you reject him. Let’s suppose that you don’t want anything to do with him and that you don’t want to accept his payment for your sin. THE VERDICT HOLDS! GUILTY! THE SENTENCE IS ETERNITY IN HELL WITH SATAN AND HIS NASTY DEMONS. Once you die, it will be too late. The judgment will be set. The verdict can never be overturned. There is no appeals court.

Once you die, that’s it! Do you know when you will die? Don’t take a chance on waiting until tomorrow. Tomorrow might be too late!

There is only one way to avoid that sentence and that is to accept the ransom that Jesus paid for your sins.

We have but two choices where we will spend eternity. The first is a place called heaven, the most beautiful environment that you could possibly imagine. This is the home for God’s family. It is the perfect family filled with love. There is no sin in heaven; therefore, none of the problems we face in this present life exist there.

The second choice we have is a place called hell (later the lake of fire). This is the place that was created for Satan (former archangel) and all the fallen angels that tried to overthrow God eons ago.

Those who follow Satan (anybody who is not part of God’s family) will join them in this place for eternity. The environment is unbearable. Air conditioning wouldn’t even help.

That is bad enough, but there is more. You’d be living with Satan and his nasty demons who would torment you forever. Satan hates you. Never forget that.

Some people think that it’s going to be one big party with their drinking buddies. Don’t be deceived!

Satan is the father of lies and he is lying to you about this one. Even if you serve him, you are being deceived. Satan doesn’t share his kingdom with anyone! Even if you serve him, he hates you and wants to destroy you. He’s certainly not my choice!

You might say. I don’t believe in hell. You will IF you get there. A famous evangelist once stated that if there was only a 10% chance that hell existed, he wouldn’t take a chance. Will you?

The purpose of this writing is not to ‘scare you out of hell’ but to show you how much God loves you and wants you to be part of his family for eternity. He doesn’t want anybody to go to hell, but that is our choice. Nobody else can make that decision for us. This is really a no-brainer, but you and only you can make that choice.

Just remember. SATAN GETS ALL THE LEFTOVERS THAT DON’T BECOME PART OF GOD’S FAMILY. Come to Jesus today! It will be the wisest decision you ever will make.

God gave man the freedom of choice. He is a true gentleman and doesn’t force himself on anyone. He is waiting for you to come back to him, but that will be your choice. Whomever you follow on earth is whom you will spend eternity with.

We are here to show you both sides and to help you make a wise decision. You might say, “I don’t believe that.” THAT’S YOUR CHOICE! You might say, “I don’t believe that either.” THAT’S YOUR CHOICE! God gave man the freedom to choose. THE CHOICE IS YOURS! NOBODY CAN MAKE THAT CHOICE FOR YOU! We’re giving you information and what you do with that information is YOUR CHOICE!

There is one thing we don’t have a choice about, however. One day we will all stand before Almighty God and will have to give an accounting of our lives. We can stand before God, with all our sins and hear the guilty verdict and be turned over to Satan.

If, on the other hand, we have accepted Jesus as our Savior and submit to his Lordship, our sins will be removed. God won’t even remember them at that point. It’s like pressing the delete key on your computer. Your sins will be gone, not even a trace that ever existed will remain. Jesus did that for you. Don’t forget to thank him.

Those who become God’s children will become joint heirs with Jesus in God’s Kingdom.

For those of you who think you’ll join your buddies in hell and have one big party…WRONG! Read Mary Baxter’s book ‘A Divine Revelation of Hell’ and that will quench any thought you might have that hell is going to be one big party. Jesus personally transported Mary Baxter, in the spirit, into hell over a period of 40 days. He told her to write what she saw and that many souls would be saved because of this book. Jesus also transported her, in the spirit, to heaven to show her the wonders awaiting all those who accept Jesus as their Savior. This is recorded in another book ‘A Divine Revelation of Heaven’. A third book that I recommend that you read by the same author is ‘A Divine Revelation of the Spirit Realm’. This will give you a better understanding on what is actually happening in the spirit world or those other dimensions that I talked about. Spiritual warfare is being waged every day between the forces of good and evil, between God’s angels and Satan’s demons.

Trinity Broadcasting Network has produced a video about several people who had near death experiences. These people were pronounced clinically dead and their souls left their bodies. There are rare cases when the soul will reenter the body of a person who has died and that person will once again become alive. Many people tell of good experiences that happened to them. The people on this video, however, had some dreadful experiences. They were lucky, in the fact that they had a second chance. Since returning from the beyond, ALL OF THESE PEOPLE HAVE ACCEPTED JESUS AS THEIR SAVIOR. Just like the thief on the cross, they cut it pretty close.

THIS IS A NO-BRAINER, MY FRIENDS! Do you recall how long one day can be when you have the flue? It can be a very long day, but you know that it will probably be over in another day or two.

Close your eyes for a minute and imagine how long eternity actually is. There are exceptions, but man normally lives less than 100 years. Just imagine how horrible it you would be if you were in agony every day of your life. Now add a zero and make it 1,000 years. Keep adding zeros. That’s just the beginning of eternity!

“…and death and hell were cast into the lake of fire, and whosoever was not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.” Revelation 20:14-15

Forgive me for my sins, cleanse me, and wash me clean with your blood that you shed on the cross for me. Come into my heart and fill me with your Spirit. I give you my life. I now declare before God Almighty and the entire universe that I now belong to you, Jesus. Thank you for loving me and for everything you have done for me.

All that do unrighteously, are an abomination unto the Lord thy God. Deuteronomy 26:16

Repent, therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out. Acts 3:19

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9

For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Romans 10:10

4. BELIEVE THAT JESUS CAME TO EARTH, WAS BORN OF THE VIRGIN MARY, PAID THE PENALTY FOR YOUR SINS ON THE CROSS, ROSE FROM THE DEAD, AND ASCENDED UP TO HEAVEN TO BE WITH OUR HEAVENLY FATHER.

For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16

If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Romans 10:9

But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name. John 1:11-12

You have two natures. The old nature is born of fallen man and is sinful. The new nature is born of God and is holy. The key is to leave your old sinful ways behind you. Examine your Christian walk and keep it holy. We can never be perfect. We will mess up once in a while, but God sees our heart. If we try to do what is the right thing to do and what is pleasing to our Lord, then God will overlook those errors in our life. That is what we mean by God’s grace.

If, on the other hand, you don’t leave those sins behind you, those willful sins, you can come out from under the covering of the blood of Jesus.

2. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of anything…thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them.

Jesus said unto him. Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment, and the second is like unto it. Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

SALVATION IS FREE!!

JESUS PAID THE PRICE FOR OUR SINS!

Eternity is a long time! Make sure that you get this right!

Salvation is one-on-one between you and God. God loves you! He created us to be his children. We are a family. Yes, we need our churches to teach us these things, but too many times the church becomes the god in a person's life.
