FINANCING GOD'S LOCAL ARMY
Removing the GOD OF MAMMON from the church
The GOD OF MAMMON is very prevalent in the modern church. Our Lord wants all gods, including this GOD OF MAMMON removed from his church.
The GOD OF MAMMON is not allowed in God's army. That is one main reason why our Lord will be in charge of the finances in HIS ARMY.
Then we will be free to spend our time on the assignments our Lord gave us and NOT have to be concerned about where the money that is needed will come from.
The local congregation
The growth of God's army will be phenomenal. It could even reach the level of
EXPONENTIAL GROWTH if people unite and do what our Lord asks us to do.Local congregations of God's army will be popping up all over this country.
Where two or more are gathered together is God's church. Any small group of BELIEVERS (minimum of 2) can start a local congregation of God's army in their community.
Modern technology will make it feasible for these small groups to easily connect to the national or larger groups.
Full time verses volunteers
Most of the people in God's army will be volunteers, especially at the local level.
If we spent all of our money on salaries, then we’d have to spend most of our time in fund raising projects to pay those salaries. That is not the purpose of WFC. God wants the money coming in and also our time bringing in the harvest.
The quest for money is one of the biggest flaws in the modern church.
Our Lord wants the GOD OF MAMMON removed from his church. How can we do that if we continue doing the same things the existing church is doing?
Small fund raising projects at the local level are ok
Our Lord doesn't want us to get into major fundraising projects at the
CORPORATE LEVEL! Small fundraisers at the local level fall in a different category.There are expenses to be paid at all levels.
The national WFC will not be assuming any financial responsibility for the local congregations. Because of the anticipated rapid growth, all local congregations must be self-sufficient financially.
It doesn't cost anything to meet in somebody's home in the beginning. That’s what the first century church did, and they were very successful. They grew daily. That sounds good to me.
Local congregations can pass the plate at their gatherings to pay for their expenses. A periodic Treasurer's report at these gatherings is recommended. Most people will appreciate knowing where the money they give is being spent.
Our youth army will have financial needs also.
Car washes, selling candy bars, garage sales, etc. are very low keyed and are not manipulating God's Word to pull money from people.
A local thrift store or massive garage sales are also possibilities to help the local congregation and youth financially.
DO NOT, and I repeat. DO NOT put your focus on raising money for your congregation.
Your main goals are to bring in the lost and to prepare a pure and holy bride for our Lord.
Never take your eyes off those goals.
