How to Establish a Local WFC Congregation

Welcome to God's Warriors for Christ family!!!

God asked us to build him an army to bring in a huge harvest of souls from throughout the world. That is what we will do.

The first thing I am going to ask you to do is read the chapter HOW WE CAN BUILD A MIGHTY ARMY from my publication BUILDING GOD AN ARMY.

How We Can Build a Mighty Army

Warriors For Christ is a very important part of God's army of independent ministries, each working side-by-side like the allies did in World War II. This is called NETWORKING.

Each local community or geographical area can have its own WFC congregation or church.

The GREAT COMMISSION is for ALL BELIEVERS. The Bible tells us to make disciples of ALL BELIEVERS.

2 ways to begin a local WFC congregation

There are 2 main ways you can begin a local WFC congregation.

If you have a large group of people, you can begin with a weekly meeting and then have the people develop home churches/home fellowship groups. That is one way, but it probably won't be the norm.

The norm will probably be 2 or more individuals starting a HOME CHURCH or HOME FELLOWSHIP GROUP and then asking other people to join them.

The basic unit in God's WFC Army is the HOME CHURCH/HOME FELLOWSHIP GROUP.

The 1st century church began with home churches. There is a trend to home churches once again.

This can be the church's quick remedy for the enemy trying to close down churches like during the  COVID-19 pandemic.

The people who already have a church home can call their little assemblies HOME FELLOWSHIP GROUPS. They must wear 2 hats, however, one for their church and one for God's Army.

Weekly WFC Meetings

Each local congregation will consist of many home fellowship groups that will meet together on a weekly basis.

These groups can easily reach out into their local neighborhoods and communities and invite people to join them for some fun and fellowship.

The leaders for the local congregations and home fellowship groups will normally come from within the local organization.

When these groups get too big, they will split into two. When these groups get too big, they will also split into two groups.

Always be training new leaders to begin new groups. God wants us to work in teams.

That's how God's army will grow, and grow, and grow!!!

Different kinds of home fellowship groups

As a variation, some of these groups could be prayer warriors groups, Bible study groups, showing the teaching tapes, etc.

Be flexible and go with the leadings of the Holy Spirit.

The important thing is to literally be connected with GOD'S ARMY somewhere.

Always seek out potential leaders and begin training them immediately.

Do not place newborn Christians in positions of leadership, however. Get the people involved in your gatherings ASAP That is how they will grow into mature Christians qualified to lead new groups..

Recruit! Equip! Send!

Remember what our goals are.

We are to recruit a huge army that will bring in a huge harvest for our Lord. How do you make an army grow?

We are to do 3 things. 1. Recruit. 2. Equip. 3. Send.

Our main goal is to free our lost brothers and sisters from Satan’s clutches and then provide them with a basic Christian education.

Welcome them into our family and then love them. Love is the key. 

Our Lord keeps telling us that we will win the lost with love and NOT religion. 

Love our lord and love one another!

Have fellowship with God and have fellowship with one another.

That sounds simple to me! How about you?

Weekly meetings

One requirement for local WFC congregations is to have weekly meetings on an off church night.

A person can invite people to come to the weekly meeting or to a home fellowship group. It would be good for the new warrior to see the big picture.

God is to receive the first fruits of the evening.

Nuggets and information for these meetings can be shared with other congregations in the OFFICERS NEWS section of the website.

This will be a private area for leaders only. A password is required.

People and leaders are asked to submit nuggets also. When you run across a gem, let’s share it with the rest of our family.

Even though some nuggets will be furnished, leaders are asked to allow the Holy Spirit to take over the meeting.

Our Lord wants us to get away from agendas, where it is the same week, after week, after week. He also wants the people involved in the meeting.

The normal plan for the evening (meeting) will be as follows. The first part of the evening is dedicated to God. Praise and worship, nuggets of information, prayer, etc. are on the agenda.

There will be a short break. After the very short break there will be a WFC meeting.

The WFC meeting will be something like a sales rally. We are building God a huge army!

Have some fun!!! Being a Christian is not supposed to be boring!

Always use good taste, and don't become extremists. Seek the proper balance in everything that you do.

Prizes, awards, recognition, and all those good things can be part of this segment of the evening.  This is separate from God's time. Have fun!!!

Our Lord told me to build him a huge army and that is what we will do.

After the meeting is over, allow people to hang around and have fellowship with one another. We are a family. Have some fun!

Love is the key. We are to love one another.

Be flexible. Invite the Holy Spirit to attend. He might surprise you with the unexpected. Always be submissive to his leadings.  

Regional gatherings

If there are several churches in an area, you might choose to occasionally get together for some fun and fellowship in lieu of one of the weekly meetings.

The Bible tells us to have fellowship with one another. We are a family. Let’s have a gathering and have LOTS OF FUN! 

Use your imaginations (recruiting contests, prizes, social activities, pot luck, picnics, etc.) Be creative and have fun!

Being a Christian is not meant to be boring! Yes, I'll keep repeating that!

Equipping the Saints in BOOT CAMP

This is an army.

What is the first thing that happens when you join the army? That's right...BOOT CAMP!!!

WFC's BOOT CAMP will equip God's army for service.

We'll provide them with a basic Christian education, equip them with their spiritual weaponry, and then send them back into the fields to bring more of their brothers and sisters home from the enemy.

We still need our churches

If you are attending a spirit led church that is doing things God's way, then stay there and simply put on another hat that says GOD'S ARMY.

Remember that we can be a supplement to the local church, and not a replacement for it.

We will also have actual spirit led WFC Community Churches in areas where it is hard to find a spirit-led church.

We are nondenominational and do not get involved in their differences.

Nobody is asked to leave his or her church to join God's Army!

A call for leaders in God's army

Many of you have been Christians all your lives. We are calling you forth to become leaders and officers in God's army.

Many of the leaders in God's army will also come from the harvest.

Many people have already accepted Jesus as their Lord, but they are lukewarm and still have one foot in Satan’s territory. They need to come completely out of Satan's territory now, while there is still time.

The 2nd mandate for God's 21st century church is to prepare a pure and holy bride for our Lord.

God's Army can help these people get the sin out of their lives so they won't be LEFT BEHIND when Jesus comes for his pure and holy bride.

The Great Commission is for all believers!

You don't need degrees and titles to serve in God's army, but you will need equipping!

There have been many prophecies about a restructuring of the church coming.

The first will be last and the last first.

Do you want to be part of the FIRST? If so, join God's Army and get a congregation established in your area ASAP!!!

God's Army can be a supplement to the local church

We are NOT trying to undermine what the churches are doing. We are doing those jobs that most churches fail to do.

What was our Lord's message through John to the churches in Revelation 2 and 3?

God told them to keep doing the things they were doing good.

There are, however, many things that churches should be doing that they are not doing. Start doing them.

There are also many things that churches are doing that are NOT GOD'S WILL. Kick them out of your churches ASAP.

Our Lord is telling us what some of those things are in his messages to the church on this website.

Just like none of our children are perfect, none of our churches are perfect either.

We need to keep doing the things that we are doing good and get rid of those things that are not our Lord's will.

That makes sense to me! How about you?
