Home Groups are the Basic Unit in God's Army

Thank you for your interest in joining or learning more about God's Army.

If you simply want to learn more about being a Christian, you are more than welcome to ATTEND a group gathering that is led by a qualified leader.

If you have accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you are invited to join God's Army.  

Nobody is asked to leave his or her church to join God's army.

If you already have a church home, you will be required to wear 2 different hats, however, one for your church and one when you are in God's Army.

Check the LIST OF WFC LOCAL CONGREGATIONS (local community churches, home congregations, etc.) and see if there is one in your area. If not, get a small group (minimum of 2) together and let's get one started ASAP.

We don't want any lone rangers now, and we must make sure that we are on the same page spiritually  (Statement of Faith). WFC will not get involved in all those denominational differences. We have more important things to do with our time. 

We have only a few years to bring in a huge harvest and we need to get started ASAP!!!

Keep it simple! STARTING A LOCAL CONGREGATION can be as simple as inviting some of your Christian friends to your house for an evening of fellowship with our Lord and with one another.

God created us to be a family. Now let's do what God's families do. 

You don't have a strict agenda when you gather together as a family. We'll have guidelines and recommendations, but this is not legalism. The best advice is to ALLOW  THE HOLY SPIRIT to take over.

The key is to give God the first fruit of your evening. It can be through music, prayer, praise, small nuggets, etc. There is no strict agenda. Invite the Holy Spirit to join you and you might be surprised at what happens.

There are many things you can talk about. Maybe one person in your group has a problem. We are a family and families help one another and support one another.

The Great Commission is for ALL BELIEVERS. Have a spokesperson to keep the gathering flowing. God wants everybody involved and doing his or her fair share.

That is all that a HOME FELLOWSHIP GROUP is, people.

Invite some friends who love our Lord and talk about how you can help bring God's children back into his family. Everything starts small.

Invite new people to join your group weekly (both Christians and those not saved). The 'newbies' attending these meetings should feel the love of our Lord flowing through his children. Let Jesus be your role model. Love them and welcome them into your group.  

The key is NO AGENDAS and KEEP RELIGION out of this. We are a family. Now let's show these people what it is like to be a child of God, the creator of the universe.

It would also be good advice to show the following 5 minute video over and over again, especially when you have new people attending your group.

When these groups get too big, they will split into two groups. When these groups get too big, they will also split into two groups. Always be training leaders.

That's how God's army will grow, and grow, and grow!!!

Note!!!! This is not legalism with a long list of rules and regulations. Just like every member in God's family is different, each home fellowship group will be different also.

Now let's imagine that we have developed several home fellowship groups in an area. That is when it would be advisable to find a place large enough to have a weekly meeting for all the Home Fellowship groups on an off church night.

That is when you can open up those doors wide and get everybody on a massive recruiting campaign for our Lord.

Recruiting is very simple, people. I tried it many times in the marketplace and it is simple. If you simply invite people to your gathering and also tell them THAT NOBODY IS TO ASKED TO LEAVE HIS OR HER CHURCH, the response has been excellent. That is very important.

Never forget the woman who gave her 2 mites in the Bible. She made it into the Bible and the long list of Pharisees and religious leaders did not. Point made.

God will appreciate every little thing we do to help bring in this harvest. He has special rewards in heaven for His end-time army.
