Jesus and His Bride's Love Story The Bride of Christ The following is an overview of what my book GO FOR THE GOLD is about! This will be a requirement for BOOT CAMP. This book and message are copyrighted and are not to be copied for any purposes. God told me that my books will be made available to the public after this ministry officially opens its doors to the public. The Year of the Deep and the Next Great Awakening by Steve Porter, Rochester, NY - January 23, 2018 This is the ultimate love story of all ages. This is not just an emotional movie that can bring forth tears at times. This is the real thing. That is the greatest love story ever told!!! Jesus is calling us to become his bride. He loves us with a pure love. He is the perfect husband. The sad part is that we cannot be his perfect bride while living in these human bodies in Satan’s territory. How to become a pure and holy bride for Jesus My book GO FOR THE GOLD is about preparing a pure and holy bride for our Lord. This is about our journey into and through the Tabernacle that God had Moses erect in the wilderness. In the original Tabernacle, the blood of the sacrificial animals covered the sins of God’s people for one year. This blood never removed the sins, but only covered them. That was before Jesus became the sacrificial lamb on the cross for the sins of mankind. When Jesus died on that cross, he made the declaration “IT IS FINISHED”. There would never again be a need for animal sacrifices. Now back to our journey into and through the Tabernacle. We can only gain entry into the Tabernacle through the Gate. Jesus is the Gate. We can only enter into God's Tabernacle by accepting Jesus as our Lord and Savior. Jesus became the perfect sacrificial lamb that removed our sins. The beauty about this sacrifice is that these sins are gone forever, to be remembered no more. Even God forgets that you ever committed them. Jesus paid the price for the sins of mankind, but there are conditions attached. Salvation is FREE, but it will be on God’s terms and not mans. Our journey through the Tabernacle We are now inside the Gate of the Tabernacle. We are now in the Outer Court. This Court is meant for newborn Christians only. These baby Christians need to be nourished and loved.Their brothers and sisters need to help them take those baby steps to becoming an adult Christian. We need to be there for support as these young ones grow into mature Christians. Then, when they reach a certain level of spiritual maturity, we'll help get them on that straight and narrow road that leads out of the Outer Court and into the Middle Court. The problem with God’s church is that most of his children never leave the Outer Court. They are saved. What more could they ask for? They never get on that straight and narrow road that leads to and through the Middle Court, and eventually into the Holiest (Holy) of Holies where God resides. The Outer Court is like a bronze medal. The Middle Court is like a Silver medal, but being allowed in the Holiest of Holies is the ultimate prize, people. That is the Gold medal. Preparing a pure and holy bride The Holy Spirit is with us as we proceed on our journey. All humans have faults. The Holy Spirit helps us get rid of them one-by-one on our journey. Each step we take forward brings us one step closer to our ultimate goal and that is to be in the Holiest of Holies with our precious Lord. As we proceed on our journey, the Holy Spirit also puts us up on a potter’s wheel and molds us into an image of Jesus. Becoming like Jesus should be our ultimate goal.A nother wonderful thing happens as we proceed on journey. We start spending more and more time with our Savior, our future husband. Our love for our Lord and future husband continues to grow, and grow, and grow, as we spend intimate moments together (our prayer closet). Those flaws and things of the world that meant so much to us in the Outer Court no longer have much meaning. We don’t have to literally give them up. We don’t want to do them anymore, because we have found something so much better. We finally found our soul mate that we've been searching for subconsciously all our lives. We have finally met our one true love, and his name is JESUS!. Our feelings for our future husband continue to grow as we proceed on our journey to the Holiest of Holies. We begin to love him, a little at first, but then a lot. There reaches a point when our love for Jesus turns into BEING IN LOVE WITH HIM! The ultimate prize, or Gold medal, is when we finally are allowed into the Holiest of Holies where God resides. This is where we finally become one with our future husband, I in him and he in me. Why the Book Go for the Gold is so Important! Read my book GO FOR THE GOLD to learn about all the things that are available to the people who are allowed to enter this sacred area. The Tabernacle was a pattern of heaven It gets even better than that, people. The Tabernacle was a pattern of heaven. You can only enter heaven through Jesus. He must remove all your sins before you are allowed through the gate into heaven. If your church or religion teaches anything else, then it would be wise of you to find a church that does teach these things. No church can save you. Only the blood of Jesus gets rid of our sins. If you don't enter through Jesus, then you will then have to remain outside in Satan's territory. You'll then have to spend eternity with this very evil being called Satan. You definitely don’t want that.It doesn’t cost anything to come to Jesus. It’s FREE, people!!! What are you waiting for? The 3 Courts in heaven We enter into the Outer Court of heaven as we pass through the Gate. Jesus is our PASSWORD for entry. The Outer Court is wonderful and the people here are very happy. As we look off into the distance, however, we see the city of New Jerusalem. Entering into the city is like entering the Middle Court. The people in the Outer Court are allowed entry into the city to visit, but they are not allowed to take up residency there. The Court that we end up in on this earth will determine where we will live in heaven for eternity. The Bible and many prophecies, etc. from God describe many of the wonders of this city. Within the city of New Jerusalem is a huge mountain. This is not an itty-bitty mountain like we have on this earth. It is a monstrous mountain. This is where the Holy of Holies is located in heaven. At the top of this absolutely gorgeous mountain is God’s throne. The ultimate reward in heaven is to live high on God’s mountain. God has mansions prepared in heaven for all his children, but the scenery and beauty of living on God’s mountain is beyond our imagination.Yes, making it into heaven is wonderful, but there are different degrees of wonderful in heaven. I have messages from God in my book that describe some of these wonders. Don't be satisfied with just making it into heaven. Go for all that God has available to his precious children. GO FOR THE GOLD! Being chosen as a Bride of Christ Now let’s go back to being chosen as a bride of Christ. Let’s take a look at Matthew 25 and the parable of the 10 virgins. The 10 virgins represent the people who are saved and are welcomed back into God’s family. Five (50%) of the virgins were ready when Father God sends Jesus for his pure and holy bride. These people are the Bride of Christ. These are the people who will be removed from this earth before the 7-year Tribulation Period begins. The other five (50%) of the virgins are saved, but they are not pure and holy enough to be chosen as a Bride of Christ. These people know who Jesus is and have accepted him as their Lord, but what they lack is an intimacy with their future husband. They know about him, but they don't KNOW him. There is a difference. They know who Jesus is, but they don't have a personal one-on-one relationship with him. These virgins (the people who are saved but will not chosen as a bride of Christ), will be LEFT BEHIND and have to experience the horrors of the 7-year Tribulation Period. There is another rapture of the remainder of the saints at mid-trib, but I doubt if many will be able to survive that long. The Holy Spirit and God's angels will also exit this world when Jesus comes for his pure and holy bride. You don't want to be LEFT BEHIND, people. You definitely don't want to be LEFT BEHIND. A parable of a courtroom in heaven Jesus taught using parables. A parable is a short allegorical story (when interpreted reveals a hidden meaning) that teaches something. The following is a parable about a courtroom in heaven. We are in a courtroom in heaven, standing before God the Judge. All men sin; therefore, God has no other choice but to pronounce his verdict of GUILTY! God will not allow sin to enter his Kingdom in heaven. We were pronounced guilty. That means that our sins are still there, and we will not be allowed into God’s Kingdom in heaven. The sentence for our verdict of GUILTY is that we will have to spend eternity in hell with Satan and his evil demons. There are no parties with your buddies down there. You definitely don’t want to go there. What happens after people are convicted of a crime while living on this earth in our bodies of flesh? We are sent to jail, serve our sentence, and are then released and sent back into society. Things are different once we die, however. Our souls and spirit exit our bodies of flesh, and we will spend eternity either with God in heaven or with Satan and his demons in hell. We never know when we will draw our last breath on this earth. Hell is the fate of everybody who dies without their sins removed. Now let’s go back to that courtroom again. You are standing in front of that stern Judge. You are found guilty and God is informing you about your punishment. But wait... Enter our hero Jesus! (imagine those old silent movies when the hero enters the scene and saves the damsel in distress from the clutches of the evil and nasty villain). Jesus enters the Courtroom and shows the Judge the scars on his body. He already paid the price for our sins. The Judge then declares you... INNOCENT. You are free to go. He then stamps his papers... CASE CLOSED. He then files those papers away, never to be looked at again. Now what do you do? Do you go up to Jesus and give him a big hug and thank him, or do you exit the courtroom and not even thank him for what he just did? Let’s all thank Jesus for paying the penalty for all our sins and also Father for his love and grace. We need both. Thank you, Jesus!!! Thank you, Father for your love and grace!!! For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16 Be worthy to be chosen as a bride of Jesus Now let's go back to our journey through the Tabernacle. Jesus is with us on this journey. Now is the time to start tagging along with Him like a loyal little puppy dog. Don't leave his side. Join hands with him as you continue on your journey through the Tabernacle. Find a place (prayer closet) where you can spend time talking with Jesus every day. Learn to hear him speak to you like I have. Put on some anointed praise music and just bask in his presence. My prayer closet is my leather chair. It is almost automatic that when I put on a certain CD and start praying in tongues, that I feel the tangible presence of God and he starts speaking to me. God wants to speak to you also. Jesus loves us. He wants us to love him in return. Love him, people. Jesus did so much for us. W hat are we willing to do for him in return?Love him, people! Repent and walk away from your sins. Then you should be worthy to be chosen as a bride of Christ!!!Copyright © 2003-2024 Warriors For Christ Ministries - All rights reserved The following copyright policy replaces and overrides any previous copyright statements made on this website.
