When Kings Go to War

[Below is a word from Andrew Whalen.]

"In the spring, at the time when kings march out to war, David sent out Joab and his servants with the whole army of Israel. They destroyed the Ammonites and besieged Rabbah, but David remained in Jerusalem.

"One evening David got up from his bed and strolled around on the roof of the palace. And from the roof he saw a woman bathing—a very beautiful woman. So David sent and inquired about the woman, and he was told, 'This is Bathsheba, the daughter of Eliam and the wife of Uriah the Hittite.'

"Then David sent messengers to get her, and when she came to him, he slept with her..." (2 Samuel 11:1–4 BSB)

The "sound of war" is at our gates, but too many men are not picking up the sword and going out to battle, even though the time for war is NOW!

When we don't go to war in the time of war, war enters our gates, and we become targets of seductive spirits and passivity of the flesh.

Jezebel's witchcraft and seductions (largely through the use of pornography) have entangled men called to walk as kings and castrated their prophetic voice. Their roar has turned to the whimpering of Jezebel's eunuchs.

Porn has poisoned the souls of men, making them predators of the very ones they are called to protect.

If there was ever a time to go to war, it is now!

Lives Being Set Free from the Witchcraft of Pornography

On a very recent, fifteen-hour road trip, I was suddenly 'seeing' a vision of hundreds of thousands of people being 'caught up' in the sky.

Overlaid upon all of these people was a massive judge's gavel.

The encounter was so vivid that for hours, as I drove, every time I looked at the sky I immediately saw the same vision of thousands ascending to the air.

My first question was, "God, are You showing me the rapture?" As quickly as I asked, the Lord responded and said, "These are lives being set free from the witchcraft of pornography."

A Sevenfold Recompense

The Lord continued and said, "I am rendering verdicts of repayment."

When I heard the Lord say this, instantly I knew that the 'spiritual identity theft' that has plagued this generation as a result of pornography was being dealt with.

I was suddenly reminded of a powerful dream I had. In my dream, I was brought before the courts of heaven by an accuser. The accuser had a very large and condemning list of crimes I was guilty for. In my dream I realized that the accusations against me were somehow true and I wept before the court, admitting my guilt.

One thing I realized is that in heaven, sins are magnified.

I was being charged with murder, adultery and more, for things such as lust, gossip and hatred.

It is exactly as Jesus said in the sermon on the mount (Matthew 5). Lust is seen as adultery, hatred as murder, and so on.

In my dream, as I stood before the Judge, weeping and acknowledging my guilt, suddenly my Advocate rose to my defense.

He said, "It is true what this accuser has said about Andrew; he is guilty. However, when Andrew was committing these crimes, his accuser had put him under witchcraft."

With intense anger, the Judge rose to His feet, pointed at my accuser, and said, "Because you put him under witchcraft you will be held guilty for his crimes, and must repay sevenfold what you stole" (Proverbs 6:31).

When the Lord had brought this dream to mind, I knew that God was reminding me of His heart for people put in prisons of bondage through the witchcraft of pornography.

It's not that God was removing our responsibility for sin, but He was emphasizing His great desire to show us mercy and judge our real enemy, because of the victory of Jesus Christ.

The "Celebrity-SHIP" Is Capsizing

[Below is a word given to Henry Hastings on July 2020.]

"Do not become disillusioned, because the 'Celebrity-SHIP' must be capsized.

Exposure leads to justice, and justice leads to purging.

After the purging, holiness will come.

We will be entering an unprecedented season of holiness. This is the sign of reformation.

The Lord is emphasizing men walking in sexual purity, which is key to victory.

"Get the men off porn, baptized with the Holy Spirit, set them to pray, and you will see Me move in power."

Bringing Men Back to Kingship Identity

A majority of men have no concept of the freedom available to them through Jesus.

Many men live a compromised life, objectifying women, and fueling the demand for human trafficking through pornography. The truth is, we are the kings!

"John, to the seven churches which are in Asia:

"Grace to you and peace from Him who is and who was and who is to come, and from the seven Spirits who are before His throne, and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler over the kings of the earth.

"To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood, and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen." (Revelation 1:4–6 NKJV)

Sexual Immorality Addressed in the Churches in Revelation

In the letters to the seven churches (in Revelation), two out of seven were in sexual immorality: Pergamos and Thyatira.

To Pergamos, "But I have a few things against you, because you have there those who hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balak to put a stumbling block before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed to idols, and to commit sexual immorality. Thus you also have those who hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate. Repent, or else I will come to you quickly and will fight against them with the sword of My mouth." (Revelation 2:14–16 NKJV)

To Thyatira, "Nevertheless I have a few things against you, because you allow that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, to teach and seduce My servants to commit sexual immorality and eat things sacrificed to idols. And I gave her time to repent of her sexual immorality, and she did not repent. Indeed I will cast her into a sickbed, and those who commit adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of their deeds. I will kill her children with death, and all the churches shall know that I am He who searches the minds and hearts. And I will give to each one of you according to your works." (Revelation 2:20–23 NKJV)

God Disciplines Those He Loves

Hear the words of Jesus:

"You have a few names even in Sardis who have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with Me in white, for they are worthy. He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels." (Revelation 3:4–5 NKJV)

"As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent." (Revelation 3:19 NKJV)

This is where we are in the church today! Exposure is designed to yield the fruit of righteousness.

Hebrews 12:11 says, "Now no chastening seems to be joyful for the present, but painful; nevertheless, afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it" (NKJV).

1 Peter 4:17 says, "For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God?" (NKJV).

"For if we would judge ourselves, we would not be judged. But when we are judged, we are chastened by the Lord, that we may not be condemned with the world." (1 Corinthians 11:31–32 NKJV)

"For whom the Lord loves He chastens, and scourges every son whom He receives." (Hebrews 12:6 NKJV)

Walking in Holiness

God commands us to flee sexual immorality!

1 Corinthians 6:18 says, "Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body" (NKJV).

"Flee sexual immorality" is the Greek pheugete tên porneian. The word "flee" (Strong's G5343) is a very urgent and deliberate command.

God also commands us to awaken to righteousness and not sin.

1 Corinthians 15:34 says, "Awake to righteousness, and do not sin; for some do not have the knowledge of God. I speak this to your shame" (NKJV).

"And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption." (Ephesians 4:30 NKJV)

"[B]ut as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, because it is written, 'Be holy, for I am holy.'" (1 Peter 1:15–16 NKJV)

The Bible clearly reveals, as saints, kings, and priests, we are called to live a life of uncompromised sexual purity.
