Messages From God Through His Prophets This is the Month of Settlement
by Yvon Attia, Miami, Florida
July 7, 2025 Word received on June 30, 2025: He Will Not Rest Until He Handles What Concerns You As I was in prayer, seeking the heart of God for this new month, the Lord clearly highlighted Ruth 3:18 (NLT): "Then Naomi said to her, 'Just be patient, my daughter, until we hear what happens. The man won't rest until he has settled things today.'"In that moment, I heard the Lord say, "This is a month of settlement." Not just closure, but divine intervention; not just resolution, but fulfillment. The word "settled" rang out with authority. He will not rest until He has handled what concerns you. What Ruth 3 Prophetically Reveals and How It Applies to You Right Now This prophetic word is birthed out of the revelation in Ruth 3, where Ruth stands at a threshold moment in her journey—from gleaning in the fields to being positioned for covenant and inheritance. Naomi, a voice of mature wisdom, through the Holy Spirit, begins the chapter with a declaration: "My daughter, it's time that I found a permanent home for you, so that you will be provided for." This was a prophetic call, signaling transition—a shift from survival mode to covenantal rest. For Ruth, this was not just about provision; it was about being positioned in purpose, under divine covering.Ruth is instructed to prepare herself for a divine encounter. She is told to bathe, "anoint" herself, and put on her best clothes (Ruth 3:3).Each of these steps speaks to us prophetically. The bath symbolizes cleansing and the washing away of the past: repentance, renewal, and sanctification. The perfume represents the anointing and the fragrance of worship and spiritual readiness. The changing of her clothes speaks to a shift in identity—from mourning to expectation, from widowhood to bridehood, from overlooked to chosen. Then Naomi tells Ruth to go to the threshing floor—a place of separation, refinement, and destiny—and to lie at Boaz's feet. Ruth does not strive. She does not plead. She rests. She places herself in a posture of surrendered trust, quietly submitting herself at the feet of her redeemer. This is a prophetic image of the Bride of Christ drawing near in humility and hiddenness, confident that God will move. It is in the stillness of the night, in the silence of surrender, that Boaz awakens. The midnight hour becomes the moment of divine response—unexpected and swift.
This is the language of covenant. In Hebrew, the word "corner" also means "wing," the same word used in Psalm 91:4: "Under His wings you will find refuge."Ruth is not asking for charity; she is asking for identity, protection, and belonging. And Boaz responds with an oath: "As surely as the Lord lives, I will redeem you myself!" (Ruth 3:13 NLT). He takes full responsibility and begins the process to settle the matter that very day. (Photo via GetArchive) Naomi's final words in the chapter are both prophetic and personal: "Be patient, my daughter... the man won't rest until he has settled [the matter] today" (Ruth 3:18 NLT, brackets mine). This is God's heart for His people in this season. The Lord is not passive, He is already in motion. He has seen your obedience, your humility, your preparation, and now He is moving on your behalf to settle the matter in your favor. He will not rest until your redemption is complete, until the promise breaks forth, until the matter that has caused you to wait, weep, or wonder is finally and fully resolved. The Month of Divine Reversal This is a month of divine reversal.A season of transition from gleaning on the margins to sitting at the table, from hiding in the night to rising in the morning light, from being empty-handed to being filled with blessing. God is calling His people to remain in position, not with striving but with surrender—to rest at His feet and trust in His timing. For this is not just a new month; it is a new cycle, a prophetic hour of transition. The threshing floor is behind you. The covering is coming. The covenant is here. The word of the Lord for July is this: "Be patient, My daughter, My son. I will not rest until I have settled it for you." The Significance of July, the Seventh Month This prophetic word of "settlement" aligns powerfully with the Biblical significance of the number seven, which marks the seventh month, July. In Scripture, the number seven ("shevah" in Hebrew) is deeply prophetic, symbolizing divine fulfillment, spiritual completeness, and covenant promise. It is rooted in the word "savah" (or "saba," Strong's 7646), meaning "to be full," "satisfied," or to "have enough." This fullness points to God's work at creation, when He rested on the seventh day (Genesis 2:2–3). This rest was not from weariness but from completion; the work was perfect, whole, and nothing needed to be added. The words relating to savah—"shavat" ("to cease, to rest") and "shabbath" ("sabbath")—echo this theme of fullness and divine rest.Biblically, seven is also a number of oath and covenant, as seen in Genesis 21:29–31, when Abraham gives seven lambs to Abimelech as a witness to his ownership of the well, thereby naming the place Beersheba, or "well of the oath."God echoes this language in Ezekiel 36:7–12, when He makes a solemn oath to restore and bless His people, declaring He will increase them and cause them to walk again in the land. Seven also marks prophetic cycles (like Pharaoh's dream of seven years of plenty and seven years of famine in Genesis 41), as well as divine blessing (like in Deuteronomy 28:7, when God promises Israel that their enemies will scatter in seven directions).God's sevenfold promise to Abraham (Genesis 12:2–3), and His seven "I will" statements in Exodus 6:6–8, further reveal the number's covenantal weight. Thus, July, as the seventh month, is not coincidental. It carries prophetic resonance: the completion of what was promised, the settling of matters by divine oath, and the initiation of a new cycle of rest, favor, and covenantal alignment. This is the appointed time when God says, "I will not rest until I have settled it." July is not just a midpoint in the calendar; it is a divine hinge, where what was unfinished will be finalized, and what was delayed will be delivered. A Month of Divine Fulfillment and Deep Rest
"This is the time where you will hear My voice declaring, 'It is finished.' A new cycle is beginning. It is time to move. It is time to stop gleaning at the edges and step fully into covenantal provision. "This is the month to recognize who I am and enter the threshing floor of separation, for I am cutting you off from your past and changing your status. I am transitioning you from widow to bride. You will no longer remember the shame of your youth or the sorrows of your widowhood, for your Creator will be your husband—the LORD of Heaven's Armies is His name! He is your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel, the God of all the earth. (Photo via PickPik) "This is not the time to come to My feet and request covering. It is the time to come to My feet and receive it— My covering of covenant, protection, and provision. It shall be given to you."Like Esther, array yourself in your royal attire. Like Ruth, wear the fragrance of the victory of My Son Jesus. For I will not rest until I have fulfilled My promise to you. "This is the month where your ground will be plowed and your crops planted. For I, the Lord your God, will greatly increase you and rebuild you. This is the seventh month—the month of the oath. And I say to you, as surely as I live, I will redeem you Myself! "Your hour of visitation has come, your midnight hour—the moment you least expected Me to move. This is a prophetic hour of transition, a time of immediate divine response. I will respond to your surrendered heart. "This is a month of deep rest. Rest in the secret place, for the light of a new day is coming. You will not just see the light at the end of the tunnel [but that] the tunnel has ended. You are stepping into a new time of abundance and divine satisfaction, a satisfaction your heart has longed for and desperately needed. "Here is My promise to you: As you rest, I will not rest—until I have settled the matter in your favor, until I have accomplished all that I have promised you. You are not only stepping into a new cycle but into the very fulfillment of what I promised. "This is the time to have faith and believe that while you rest, I will do My best. While you lay at My feet, I will settle the matter in your favor and bring you into a NEW STATUS."
