Spiritual Warfare Weaponry

4:1 SPIRITUAL WARFARE WEAPONRY

In order to win any battle, you must have the proper weaponry.

Spiritual warfare is different than the conventional wars that are fought on this earth in our physical bodies. Our worldly weaponry is useless in the spirit realm.

How can you kill a spirit that you cannot see? You can’t. Spirits don’t die! What do we do then?

This war for the souls of man is fought in the spirit realm; therefore, the weaponry must be spiritual also.

Spiritual warfare is fought with a different type of weaponry. Not only are the weapons different, but the rules of war are different also.

God is coming with his army and his plan to bring in this coming harvest.

If we are to win the battles in the spirit realm, we must obey what the Holy Spirit tells us to do. Only the Holy Spirit can look into the hearts of man and see when these people are ready to receive the Gospel of Jesus.

4:2 DEFENSIVE WEAPONS, THE WHOLE ARMOR OF GOD

There are 2 types of weapons, defensive and offensive.

The full armor of God

When we are involved in any war, we need the appropriate armor to protect ourselves from the enemy’s attacks.

The Bible tells us to take up our cross. That means that we need our armor every day and to follow Jesus!

Matthew 16:24

"Then said Jesus unto his disciples. If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me."

The armor of God goes on our spiritual body. We are engaged in spiritual battles, so our armor is spiritual also.

How do we put on our armor? Lord, I can use some help with this.

I was not having peace as I read through what I had previously written. The information that I had was learned from man. They said to ask you to put it on for us, and to ask you every day.

God speaking: That's what I am here for, to be your teacher. Yes, scratch that paragraph. I was warning you that what you wrote was not correct.

I expect man to do whatever he can for himself, and then I will help you.

You must prepare yourself, my children. You must do the things that are required. You must get into my Word. You must seek my Son. You must pray or talk to me whenever you feel the need to. You must be ready when the enemy attacks. There are no formulas.

Get ready, my precious children, for there are some serious battles coming.

How do you put it on? You do the preparation that is necessary. That is all.

You don't continually have to put on what you already have. You can add to your armor every day, however.

Man doesn't know some of these things. Man can only guess.

Man told you to ask me to put it on for you. No, that is not correct. I will give you the ability and talents to be able to do these things, but I expect my children to do the actual work and preparation.

If you do your part, then I will do my part. We are a team, a very good team IF my children do what needs to be done.

Ephesians 6:11-17

"Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with the truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness. And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace. Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God."

These books of the Bible were written during the time of the Roman Empire. The armor described above consists of the 6 pieces of equipment that a Roman soldier wore.

GIRDLE OF TRUTH

The girdle was a kind of tunic that came to the knees. It had to be tied at the waste.

BREASTPLATE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS

The breastplate of righteousness protects your hearts. We are to put on the RIGHTEOUSNESS OF JESUS and not our own righteousness.

This kind of righteousness can only come through faith. FAITH must also work through LOVE.

Our righteousness has flaws, and Satan would be able to find a weakness in our armor to attack us.

This goes back to sin again. Sin puts holes in our armor.

Let's go back to the 3 Courts once again (referring to the book GO FOR THE GOLD and the Tabernacle that God had Moses build).

People in the Holiest of Holies are 100% off limits to Satan. He can't touch us there. He has a lot of success attacking people who are still in the Outer Court.

It's all relative. A lot of sin = a lot of holes in our armor, allowing Satan into our lives.

No, people in the Holiest of Holies can never be perfect and will still sin, but the sins are within our Father's grace for the Holiest of Holies. The holes in our armor are so small, that Satan is not able to penetrate our armor.

It's hands off, Satan!!!

I like that one!!!

It's in the Holiest of Holies that we can finally live a Christ like life.

INSERT FROM GO FOR THE GOLD

The following is an excerpt from the Chapter THE HOLIEST OF HOLIES in the book GO FOR THE GOLD.

3. THIS IS WHERE IT’S ‘HANDS OFF’ SATAN

The SPIRITS of all children who come home to God through Jesus are protected from Satan, but he still has access to your flesh and soul in the Outer and Middle Courts.

God has a protective barrier around his children, but sin puts holes in our armor and gives Satan and his demons legal access into our lives.

He cannot touch our spirits, however, because that is where the Holy Spirit takes up residency. God will NOT cohabit with the enemy.

The parameter of God's grace is very small in the Holiest of Holies. The minor goof ups that we continue to make are so small that they don't allow holes to appear in our armor. These holes aren't large enough to allow demons legal access into our lives.

Satan is not allowed in any part of this sacred area. God's children, who are allowed to enter, are sealed from Satan body, soul, and spirit. He cannot touch us. It's literally 'HANDS OFF SATAN'!

That is why Smith Wigglesworth wasn’t afraid of Satan. He was in the Holiest of Holies. There was, at least one time, that he literally saw Satan in his bedroom. All he said was. ‘Oh, it’s only you!’ He knew there was nothing that Satan could do to him.

God speaking: That is where I want to take you, into the Holiest of Holies, so that you have 100% control over your flesh. It will be easy once you get there, because then it will be OFF LIMITS TO SATAN and HIS DEMONS.

That is why I want ALL my children to be able to enter the Holiest of Holies where I reside. Then Satan knows that he cannot touch you.

The contract

The following is part of a message I received on May 4, 2008.

God speaking: I made a contract with Satan in the beginning. We make additions as we go. The release of the demons from the pits of hell (Revelation 9:1-11) is one part of this agreement.

Contracts are 2-way deals. For everything that I gave up, I expected something in return, and visa-versa.

Another part of the contract was what he could do to my people. The agreement was made that if they came home to me through my Son, then the spirit of my people was totally off limits to him, and that he could not touch their spirit in any way whatsoever.

It was off limits and reserved for my Spirit. I wanted a pure home for my Spirit, and this is one thing that I would not concede.

Another part of this is that if a person ever did enter the Holiest of Holies, they would be protected from him body, soul, and spirit.

4. WE FINALLY BECOME AN IMAGE OF JESUS

Genesis 1:27

"God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him, male and female created he them."

If we are created in God’s image, then we should want to become more like him. Why don’t we? Answer me that!

That is what this journey through the Courts has been about, getting rid of the ways of the world and becoming as much like Jesus as we can.

No, we can never be perfect, but we are now within the parameter of God’s grace for the Holiest of Holies.

We didn’t get here overnight, but we finally made it.

We FINALLY became an image of Jesus and are now true ambassadors for our Lord.

Our spirit FINALLY is in control over our flesh and soul. The Holy Spirit is now having success keeping us on the right road.

I am going to repeat what our Lord said in one of the previous messages about the thoroughbred.

God speaking: …Now the Spirit of my Son is living in you, my children. He has now become your law.

When you go down a wrong road to sin, it is the Spirit of my Son that convicts you and tries to steer you back on the right road.

He doesn’t have much success steering in the Outer Court, because the flesh of my children is too strong there. It is only when you get into this sacred Sanctuary that my Spirit is finally in control.

Yes, man still has a free will, but…

It’s just like a jockey riding a thoroughbred in a horse race.

All my Spirit needs to do is nudge you, and you will respond.

You will become that close, my children, that very close.

Now back to the BREASTPLATE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS.

The greatest love chapter in the Bible

1 Corinthians 13:1-13

Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity (love); I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.

And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity (love), I am nothing.

And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity (love), it profiteth me nothing.

Charity (love) suffereth long, and is kind. Charity (love) envieth not. Charity (love) vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh nor his own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil, rejoiceth not in iniquity but rejoiceth in the truth, beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. When I was a child, I spake as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things. For now we see through a glass, darkly, but then face-to-face. Now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.

And now abideth faith, hope, charity (love), these three. But the greatest of these if charity (love).

SHOES OF THE PREPARATION OF THE GOSPEL

Shoes should provide mobility and make us available to the Commander in Chief when he calls us. Our Commander in Chief is Jesus.

Have your shoes on and be ready for action. Study the scriptures and memorize them.

When God calls, be ready to go and do what he tells you to do.

God speaking: Yes, I want my children to be ready when I call them.

I have been preparing many ministries behind the scenes for this final harvest of souls before my Son comes for his pure and holy bride. After that, the 7 year Tribulation Period will begin.

Be ready when I call. I have the plan, and it will work to perfection if my people do what I ask them to do, and only that.

Get prepared for war, my children. Prepare your spiritual weaponry. That is what will defeat the enemy.

I am giving my children different assignments. Perfect whatever I ask you to do. You will be an army of specialists. You will work as one. That is what will defeat the enemy, you working as one body.

SHIELD OF FAITH

The shield that Paul is talking about is a large, rectangular shaped shield that the Roman soldiers used. It is large enough to protect you completely from the enemy on your front side.

Our shield must also be large enough to cover all those who are near and dear to us and everything that is connected to us.

Cover everything. It can even include equipment that you need for the work God has called you to do.

Faith is listed twice in the armor. The breastplate is for our own personal righteousness. The shield is to protect us and also those around us.

HELMET OF SALVATION

The helmet protects the head, which represents the mind. As I previously mentioned, the battlefield in spiritual warfare is in the mind.

THE SWORD OF THE SPIRIT (WORD OF GOD)

The sword of the spirit is the Word of God. It is the only piece of armor listed here that is used both offensively and defensively.

Hebrews 4:12

The word of God is quick (living), and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Revelation 1:16

And he (Jesus) had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp two-edged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.

Matthew 4:1-11 is the story of the Temptation of Jesus in the wilderness by Satan.

Note that both Jesus and Satan quoted scriptures. Jesus would state. 'It is written.' Both knew the authority of the Word.

Satan has a way of adding the word IF to create doubt.

We must know our scriptures and how to apply them. It is best to have key scriptures memorized, so that you have them available when there is a need.

UNPROTECTED AREA

The armor of God covers our front sides completely from the enemy. Our backsides are not protected, however.

The Roman soldiers marched in close ranks. Because of this, they didn't need their backs covered.

As Christians, we need to find our place in the body and march in rank with our fellow soldiers.

Watch your back! Not only do you need to protect your back from Satan's forces, but he also uses Christians against one another.

Is that where the saying 'getting stabbed in the back' comes from?

Jesus sent his apostles and early church out in twos. Could one of the purposes have been so that they could watch each other's backs?

If two people stand back to back, they are fully covered from the enemy's attacks.

ANOINTING WITH OIL

The following is a quote from the chapter THE GOLDEN CANDLESTICK in the book GO FOR THE GOLD.

ANOINTING WITH OIL

The Holy Spirit must anoint us for service

Ezekiel 29:7

7 Then shalt thou take the anointing oil, and pour it upon his head, and anoint him. KJV

Moses anointed Aaron and his sons for service. Moses was told to also anoint everything pertaining to the Tabernacle with special anointing oil.

Ezekiel 30:25-30

25 And thou shalt make it an oil of holy ointment, an ointment compound after the art of the apothecary. It shall be a holy anointing oil.

26 And thou shalt anoint the tabernacle of the congregation therewith, and the ark of the testimony, 27 and the table and all his vessels, and the candlestick and his vessels, and the altar of incense, 28 and the altar of burnt offering with all his vessels, and the laver and his foot. 29 And thou shalt sanctify them, that they may be most holy. Whatsoever toucheth them shall be holy.

30 And thou shalt anoint Aaron and his sons, and consecrate them, that they may minister unto me in the priest's office.

Anointing Oil represents a blood covering

Anointing with oil is one of the defensive weapons in spiritual warfare.

It represents the blood of Jesus covering us, protecting us from the enemy in the spirit realm.

Just like Moses was asked to anoint everything in the Tabernacle, we too can anoint physical objects that we use for service to our Lord. It won’t prevent them from normal wear and tear, but it will protect them from any interference from Satan’s forces.

I received the following messages from our Lord pertaining to anointing with oil.

God speaking: The oil represents the covering of my Son’s blood. I am accepting this as a substitute for blood.

Satan uses actual blood in his rituals.

The need for actual blood was gone once my Son went to the cross.

When he came home to me, he sent his Spirit, which is also my Spirit, to live in man.

Oil represents my Spirit.

My Son took care of the blood issue.

Now when you use oil, it represents my Spirit who is with you now.

When you apply the oil, it is as if you are applying the covering of my Son’s blood over that item, no matter what it might be.

Yes, apply the oil to your equipment.

Satan cannot penetrate the blood.

That is actually a barrier that I erect around things that I want to protect from him or his demons.

Use the oil freely.

No, you don’t have to purchase expensive oil at the Christian bookstores. Olive oil is sufficient. Use it freely.

Apply the oil to everything that you want to protect from Satan.

To apply the blood, anoint with oil

God speaking: You are wondering what words to say. Simply say. "I anoint you with the blood of Jesus." That is simple.

The oil represents my Son’s blood.

There is no more shedding of blood.

When Satan or his demons see the oil, they actually see the blood.

That is a barrier that they cannot go past.

That is my protective power for my people.

Again sin is a factor. Sin can put holes in the protection that my Son’s blood gives you. It’s all relative.

We’ve gone over this before.

The sins that are covered by my grace are under the blood.

It’s the willful sin and rebellion that are not covered.

Goof-ups are covered.

Anointing with oil is the best defensive weapon

God speaking: I told you to anoint your car and equipment with oil. That will do it.

This is spiritual warfare now and that is another spiritual weapon that we have.

None of the books list it, but I want you to add it to your list. That is the best defense that you can possibly have.

You are wondering how much and what areas. Go around the perimeter of something. That will be fine. The 4 corners of a building or property are good. It is also good to place some around all the openings into a building.

As far as a person goes, anointing the top of the head is sufficient. It then pours down over the body. You are thinking that then it needs to be on the top of the head. That is best, but the forehead is good also.

You are wondering how many of the preachers who anoint with oil actually know what it means, other than the Bible said to do it.

Not too many, I’m afraid. They are obeying me. That is what counts.

To apply the blood, anoint with oil

God speaking: I have sent extra angels to protect you. The enemy will not be able to harm you. He will attack things around you, but he won’t be able to touch you personally. That is why you must anoint your car and equipment.

You are wondering how often. The blood will never go away, but you can apply it again whenever you feel like it.

That will bug Satan. He, they (demons) hate the blood.

Every time you anoint something, it reminds him of Calvary. He thought he was getting rid of my Son, but that backfired.

Keep the blood flowing. The oil is symbolic of his blood. There is to be no more shedding of blood.

The oil represents my Spirit.

When you apply the blood, it reminds Satan of the blood that was shed on Calvary.

I am repeating myself. You know what that means.

When my Son came back to heaven, he sent our Spirit to live within man.

Oil represents my Spirit.

The Spirit of Jesus is a replacement for the actual Jesus on earth. He returned to heaven, but yet he is still there. He is there in Spirit. We are one, so this does make sense.

I am in heaven, but I am also on earth because I am omnipresent.

It’s the assignments, the assignments.

When Jesus came to earth, he shed his blood on the cross for mankind. He returned and sent his Spirit, our Spirit.

What is one of the assignments of my Spirit? It is to draw my children to Jesus, to put the focus on him and what he did on the cross for them.

This is what is happening. The Holy Spirit points to the cross. He says, "Look children. See what Jesus did for you. Do you see that blood that is coming from his body? That blood was shed for you. I have come to earth to remind you of what he did for you. When you come to me, I want you to see the blood. That is one of the main purposes that I came to earth, to promote the washing of the sins of mankind with the blood."

There is to be no more shedding of blood, so now we use oil instead.

Oil is simply a substitute for the blood!

It is symbolic of the blood that was shed on the cross!

Every time you anoint something with oil, it is the same as if you were applying the blood of Jesus to that object.

What does the blood do?

It seals and protects you from the enemy.

If you close all door openers, and apply the oil liberally, the enemy won’t be able to penetrate and harm you.

Oil is used to ordain or anoint people for service

Priests were ordained (anointed) to take care of the religious needs of people.

I can use some help with this, Lord. I want to get it right.

God speaking: That is wise, Rose. That is why I am here as you write these documents.

You are on the right path for the most part. I have been steering you to keep you on the right road. You sensed that ever since we began this publication.

I will continue to lead you until the end. You haven’t been asking me that much throughout this manuscript (GO FOR THE GOLD). That is because I was leading you through the words that you were saying.

You want to make sure that you get this right. That is why you asked me now.

ALL BELIEVERS are now part of my royal priesthood. You got that correct.

I am calling ALL of my children who come home to me through my Son to become part of my army.

I am doing the CALLING and the COMMISSIONING for my generals and other key officers.

All my children should at least begin as foot soldiers.

There will be many man-made promotions in my army, but I do the calling and commissioning for my key officers, through whom I will send my orders.

Now to the anointing! There will be a special anointing for my generals and key officers.

I want the rest of my children in my army to receive the Baptism of my Spirit. I want to fill you with my presence and lead you down the path that I want for each one of you individually.

Yes, there will be order in my army, but there will also be much flexibility in the lower ranks for people who want to serve me.

I have given each one of my children certain talents. I now want those talents to come forth and be used for my glory.

I want each one of you to be filled with my Spirit and to follow his leadings.

Many of your assignments will be unique. Those orders will NOT filter down through the ranks of my officers, but will be just between you and my Spirit.

You must confirm your assignment through the leaders of your local organization in my army.

I must have order in MY camp. This is MY camp and not man’s camp.

The leader of your local organization is not to set himself or herself up as a little king. He is not the authority in this case. My Spirit is.

The leader must also consult my Spirit.

Not everything coming forth will be from my Spirit. The enemy WILL infiltrate my army and will try to do things that are not my will.

If the local leader does not receive peace about something, it will probably be my Spirit trying to warn him that something is not right.

Not all local leaders will be able to hear my voice. That is why it is important to have a prophet in the group if at all possible. If your small group does not have a prophet, then join with other groups to share a prophet.

I must be able to communicate with my children in the days ahead.

Now back to the anointing. The local leaders can anoint ALL MY CHILDREN who come home to me through my Son for service.

That is a must, because the oil is symbolic of my Son’s blood. That is a defensive weapon against our enemy. That is man’s anointing for service.

Then I want each of my children to also be filled with my Spirit. Man cannot do that. I must do that.

I will look into your hearts, my children.

If a person does NOT receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit, do not take that as a sign that this person is NOT doing my will. I have a purpose for everything that I do and I will also have a purpose for that.

Man is never to become a judge!

I can handle that department very well without your help, thank you.

Jesus receives his anointing

Jesus came to earth as a man. Even he received his anointing from the Holy Spirit before he began his earthly ministry.

Mark 1:9-11

9 And it came to pass in those days, that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptized of John in Jordan. 10 And straightway coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens opened, and the Spirit like a dove descending upon him. 11 And there came a voice from heaven, saying, Thou art my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. KJV

Acts 10:38

How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power, who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil, for God was with him.

We are now part of God’s royal priesthood. We too must receive our anointing before we begin our ministry for our Lord.

4:3 OFFENSIVE WEAPONS OR WEAPONS OF ATTACK!

No army ever won a war on the defensive. A French General once stated that, in a war, the army that advances is the army that wins.

God is assembling his end-time army to bring in a great harvest of souls. We won’t accomplish what he wants us to do by sitting in our comfortable pews saying ‘Praise Jesus’ and ‘Amen’.

We need to get our spiritual duffs off those pews and get out into the marketplace to bring in the harvest.

Billions of people will spend eternity in hell unless we do something about it. We have the GREAT COMMISSION to fulfill.

Some saints are doing what God has commanded us to do, but not enough.

It’s time to unite and bring our lost brothers and sisters home into the family of God. Satan is not going to simply deliver them to our doorstep. We are going to have to go into enemy territory and bring them home.

Jesus already defeated Satan and his demons on the cross.

Now, we need to get into an offensive mode, attack, and claim the victory.

Jesus gave us authority over our enemy, but it is useless until we actually use it. It’s time for action.

Matthew 28:19-20

And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying. All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.

2 Corinthians 10:4

For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds.

Matthew 16:18-19

And I say also unto thee, that thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; (all believers in Jesus is his church) and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. And I will give unto thee the keys of heaven, and...

whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven,

and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

Jesus is the Commander in Chief of his end-time army.

This is spiritual warfare and we need spiritual weapons to fight this battle.

Let’s take a look at our offensive weaponry.

1. PRAYER

The first army that God is sending forth into enemy territory is the PRAYER WARRIOR ARMY.

Our Lord wants us to recruit a huge army of millions of prayer warriors from all the corners of the earth. There will be two parts of this army of prayer warriors.

One part of this prayer warrior army is INTERCESSORY PRAYER WARRIORS.

They can come from independent groups and ministries, but these prayer warriors will unite for this common cause.

It’s somewhat like the allied forces in World War II. Each group was independent, but they had the same goals and worked side by side.

In this case, Jesus is the Commander in Chief of his end-time army and is giving each one of us our individual assignments.

The second part of the end-time army prayer warriors division consists of any believer in Jesus Christ.

He wants every person to add a couple sentences to their daily prayers. You can simply say, "I PRAY FOR THE SOULS AND ALL THE NEEDS OF EVERY PERSON LIVING ON THIS EARTH." This is simple and covers just about everything.

You might then add a few special prayers for your loved ones. That puts them on a priority list.

It isn’t the length of prayer that is important in this case, but the fact that you do it.

Sin is what gives Satan and his demons legal access into our lives.

Prayer is what gives the Holy Spirit legal access to work on the hearts of the POWs that Satan is holding captive.

Prayer is necessary to break through the barriers that Satan has erected around his captives.

The prayer warriors must go first to break down these barriers, and then the regular troops can go in and bring the captives home.

You can liken the prayer warriors to the bombers or intercontinental ballistic missiles that go in before the regular army. They go in first to demolish all of the enemy’s weaponry and arsenals. It is then safer for the regular soldiers to enter.

Every war has its casualties. This war will be no different.

What we have that many armies don’t have, however, is the GOD FACTOR. Consider how many of the battles that Israel fought in the Old Testament days, and even since 1948, that were won because God was with them.

What happens when we pray?

Our prayers ascend up to heaven.

God hears our prayers and sends his angels on assignments in answer to those prayers.

A good example of this is when Peter was imprisoned in Acts 12.

Acts 12:5

Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him.

As a result of those prayers, God sent an angel to free him. In verse 23, the angel then brings judgment on Herod because he didn’t give God the glory.

2. THE SWORD OF THE SPIRIT (WORD OF GOD)

The sword of the spirit or word of God is both a defensive and offensive weapon.

Isaiah 55:11

So shall my Word be that goeth forth out of my mouth. It shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I send it.

Hebrew 4:12

For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit.

Revelation 1:16

And he had in his right hand seven stars, and out of his mouth went a sharp two-edged sword, and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.

Matthew 4:1-11 is the story of the Temptation of Jesus in the wilderness by Satan. Note that both Jesus and Satan quoted scriptures. Jesus would state. "It is written". Both knew the authority of the word. Satan has a way of adding the word IF to create doubt.

We must know our scriptures and how to apply them. The demons also know the scriptures and what they can and cannot do.

Some people include preaching as an offensive weapon.

God’s end-time army will mainly be comprised of average people and not preachers. This weapon is not meant exclusively for preachers, but for ALL BELIEVERS.

It is the commission of ALL BELIEVERS to take the Gospel to the ends of the earth.

THE GREAT COMMISSION

Mark 16:15-17

And he said unto them. Go ye unto all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe. In my name shall they cast out devils. They shall speak with new tongues.

3. PRAISE

Psalm 149:6-9

Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand; to execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people; to bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron: to execute upon them the judgment written. This honor have all his saints. Praise ye the Lord.

I want you to notice that praise and the Word of God worked together.

Psalm 150:1-6

Praise ye the Lord. Praise God in his sanctuary. Praise him in the firmament of his power. Praise him for his mighty acts. Praise him according to his excellent greatness. Praise him with the sound of the trumpet. Praise him with the psaltery and harp. Praise him with the timbrel and dance. Praise him with stringed instruments and organs. Praise him upon the loud cymbals. Praise him upon the high-sounding cymbals. Let everything that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.

MY PERSONAL TESTIMONY

One evening in 2003 I felt something strange and very different in my house. I sensed that something was not normal.

I asked the Lord about it.

He confirmed that there was spiritual warfare going on in my house.

Satan doesn’t like what God's coming end-time army will accomplish. He doesn't like the assignment that our Lord gave me either. He wanted to stop what I was called to do.

Our Lord is in control of these situations. The only two things he asked me to do were to put on some PRAISE MUSIC and PRAY IN THE SPIRIT.

Praise weakens our enemy!

Praise calls for God’s supernatural intervention!

Our Lord also told me that he needed a little time to bring in more reinforcements.

The next morning when I woke up, there was peace in the house once again.

I didn’t have to do anything other than pray and play the praise music. God's angels did the rest.

Praise strengthens God’s people and weakens Satan’s forces.

Demons don’t like it when we play praise music and read God's Word.

For those of you who are in deliverance ministries, be sure to use these weapons during your deliverance sessions.

One of Satan’s primary weapons against us is accusation!

Praise ascends up to the throne of God and silences Satan’s accusations!

Revelation 12:10

And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven. Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ. For the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.

4. TESTIMONIES

Tell others about your personal experiences and how knowing Jesus has changed your life.

We are all to be witnesses, not only with words, but with our total life.

Acts 1:8

But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you. And ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Sumaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

A MESSAGE FROM GOD

The following is part of a message I received from our Lord on July 8, 2004.

Praying in the spirit

God speaking: You are not to control your spirit. I want that privilege. I know what is best for you.

My Spirit lives within your spirit. You in me, and me in you. We are, in fact, living together in the housing of your spirit man. That is where we dwell together. That is where we communicate with each other. That is where you pray in the spirit.

When you pray in the spirit, my Spirit is actually with you, guiding you in the words that you speak.

Man is finite. I am infinite. Your mind has definite limitations to it. I am omniscient, all knowing.

When you pray in the spirit, my Spirit draws from the reservoirs of our infinite knowledge, and supplies you with what you need to say for that moment and that situation.

Spiritual warfare

My people need to know what is going on in the spirit realm, so that they can bring my lost children home.

We are entering a new era of spiritual warfare. The enemy will come at us with everything that he has, and that is a lot.

His people obey him because they are afraid not to. There must have 100% loyalty to their master of the underworld, or they will be severely punished.

There is no loyalty in Satan’s kingdom. It’s literally dog-eat-dog, as man says. You get what you can at the expense of everybody and everything else.

Much of this has entered the societies of this present world. Satan is truly the prince of this world, my children. When you do the evil things that he does, you are giving your allegiance to him.

I will not honor allegiance to my archenemy. I will not bless people who give him homage.

We are entering into a new era of spiritual warfare, and you need to know what our enemy can and cannot do. That also tells you what you can and cannot do, if you want to defeat him.

This is spiritual warfare, and you will need spiritual weaponry.

This will not be a conventional war that we will fight!

These battles will be fought in the spirit world for the souls of man!

That is why I am having you write this book (SPIRITUAL WARFARE FOR THE SOULS OF MAN).

My people read about the armor, but they don’t know what it means. That is why you must tell them.

You must also teach them how to use this weaponry. The armor is different than conventional weaponry. You must learn how to use your weapons, if you are to defeat the enemy.

You have given my people a fair understanding of the defensive and offensive weapons that they must use, but there is more.

They must PINPOINT THE TARGET.

This is where they will need the GIFT OF DISCERNMENT. I want all my soldiers in my end time army to ask for the gift of discernment.

First, we must define and recognize who our enemy is.

There are many spirits.

Satan is good at sending decoys!

He wants you to put your efforts fighting his little decoys, while his main troops remain free to do their damage.

You must consult with my Spirit at all times!

Only he can see into the real battlefield and know where the enemy is and what he is doing. He sees, and is the only one who knows where to send my troops.

That is why I am giving everybody in my army assignments. You don’t know what needs to be done. Only my Spirit does.

Jesus and my Spirit are one and the same, so don’t try to differentiate between the two. It’s only the assignments that are different.

In this case, my Spirit is in charge of the battle plan and the giving of individual assignments.

Get your assignments and go to war

In order for my people to know what their individual assignments are, my Spirit will have to speak to them.

I want all my children who join my army to be able to hear my Spirit talk to them.

You need to ask. Too many people don’t hear his voice because they simply don’t take the time to listen or forget to ask. You must ask. Ask and ye shall receive. If you ask him to speak to you, he will.

The next challenge is learning how to detect his soft voice. We’ll go more into this at another time.

What is important for you to know, at this time, is that I soon will gather my troops that I have been preparing for this final assault against our enemy.

It will continue and not stop until Satan is chained for 1000 years in the pits of hell, and the Antichrist and False Prophet will be cast into the Lake of Fire.

Once this battle starts, there will be no stopping it until it is over. It will start with a few little battles here and there.

It will be like the birth pains of a child being ready to be born. They will start out mild, but will increase in frequency and pain, until they will become unbearable and almost impossible to endure.

Church as usual will soon be over

Church as usual will soon be over.

Only those who have built a strong foundation on my Son will be able to survive what will soon happen in this world.

I have been patient for a very long time now, but my patience is running very thin.

I gave my grace, but my grace has been extended to the limits.

It’s just about time for me to say. "Enough is enough is enough". You can go no further into enemy territory, my church. It’s time to get all those impurities out of my church and your lives.

My Son is coming soon for a pure and holy bride. I will not accept anything less than that for my Son.

God's end-time army will soon begin to march

It won’t be long and I will sound the trumpet, and send forth the call for my forces to unite.

I have been preparing many people and ministries for quite some time now, for this day and this hour. We are in the final preparation stages now. It won’t be long now, and all the key players will be ready to move forward.

They will recruit me a very huge army that will reach into the ends of the earth!

They will need my power to accomplish what I want them to do for me.

It is a huge harvest that is coming. When people see the miracles that these people will do, they too will believe in my Son.

I’m not talking about the gifts now. I’m talking about my power. There is a world of difference between the two.

Very few people have received my power in the history of mankind. It is too precious to hand out liberally. The people, through whom I will release this power, are average people whom the world will not know.

I am bringing forth many new ministries in these last days to bring in the harvest.

This will NOT be church as usual.

They will NOT follow the TRADITIONS OF MAN.

They will answer directly to me, and not some mere man.
